Appearance

Ragged leather armor, usually dark colored, she also carries a ragged satchel on her at all times.

Atley typically walks lightly and quietly, but if she is reckless enough one could hear the clanging of vials in her satchel and she always smells of rot and death.

Personality

Alignment: Neutral Evil

Atley is malicious and snide. She disdains all forms of life and tries her best not to make friends with anyone. Atley outwardly is nonchalant and malevolent and inwardly is morose and nostalgic. Atley desires to relive her life the way it was before the Third War, she knows she can never do this because of her being undead and reflects this frustration to the living beings of the world. Because of this desire to live life as it was Atley desires to be wealthy, she enjoys singing, and likes watching Sin'Dorei die.

History

Atley was born in Alterac city to a wealthy merchant named Bartholomew Hanlon and his wife Cherise Hanlon. Bartholomew was a dower and grim man only interested in wealth, Cherise was naive and married him in hopes of a better life. The living was good for the couple and Atley was none the wiser to her father's disposition. Atley was reclusive and would spend most of her time listening to her mother sing to herself as she did house chores. On one of Bartholomew's long trips out of town on business Cherise invited another man into the house. Atley was shocked at the infidelity but didn't say anything. When Bartholomew returned home Cherise was overcome by guilt and confessed, Bartholomew went into a rage and killed Cherise. He realized he would need to leave Alterac City after he buried her and fled to Tarren Mill.

Though Atley was about 16 at the time she could find no way away from her father in Tarren Mill. Atley cast off her girl-ish ways then and took to hunting and killing small animals. She became interested in poisons at this time, trying out various concoctions to kill animals with rather than killing them with blades. At one point Atley witnessed a troupe of High Elves get attacked by a horde of Trolls, though it was curious that the Trolls could have been in position Atley didn't think much of it, she just ran, fearing for her life.

Atley would spend the rest of the Second War and up until the Third War plotting her father's demise. Around the Third War Atley attempted to kill her father via feeding him poison. She messed up and ate her own poison and died. When the Scourge overran Tarren Mill Atley was raised as the typical zombie and did the typical zombie type stuff. In her undead stupor Atley managed to walk into Lordaeron and with other hordes of undead killed Argent Dawn members and Scarlet Crusaders. Atley was lucky to have escaped the Lich King's control with some lost flesh, a couple missing toes and a chipped tooth.

After Atley and the rest of the Forsaken were free from the Lich King's control Atley was vengeful. She joined the Forsaken army to help kick out the rest of the Scourge from Lordaeron. Eventually Atley felt an urge to return home and went back to Tarren Mill. She was further saddened by the disheveled state her home had been in and topped that with news of Alterac's destruction. While in Tarren Mill Atley met a Royal Apothecary and gained an intrigue of alchemy and poison brewing from him, she went back to Undercity and tried to join the Apothecaries herself but didn't qualify. Atley now wanders Azeroth, usually in Old Alliance lands.
