Appearance

Asylia prefers to wear catsuits while doing actual deadly work, but otherwise wears comfortable clothing like commoners' robes or loose dresses, while eschewing formal clothing and gowns if she has the choice.

Other: Asylia is an albino, and is mildly farsighted. She needs glasses to read books and other text up close. She also carries around a locket containing small magically taken portraits of her family, her father, her half-brother, and her mother. One space is empty.

She paints as a hobby, and well enough for her own enjoyment. It's the only legitimate business she ever undertakes, if she sells anything (A rarity).

Asylia has almost no magical ability as a result of her genetics. She suffers the addiction less than some, but also can't hold much magic in her body. Her lesser doses of mana are balanced by an increased frequency of thirst, and complete inability to practice magic.

Personality

Asylia is an agent of Rommath, willing to kill anyone or do any amount of evil as long as it serves the order of the Sin'sholai. She is massively jealous of her half-brother, whom she believes is dead, because he received all the gifts in the family and squandered them where she was "cursed to be an abomination." She tries way too hard to be womanly, even though she looks almost like a teenage boy, and takes offense when people mention her small breasts or short angular build.

Asylia has a profound hate for herself and her condition, believing she isn't fit to live in the world she's trying to create (Any world, really. She has a terrible body-image because everyone else looks 'ideal' to her.). Asyila, lacking faith in herself, searches for faith and purpose in her actions. She has an almost religious view of the "perfect Silvermoon" that Rommath espouses, a place in which the Elves are the greatest users of magic and the most beautiful and unblemished race in Azeroth. Her work in gathering intelligence is almost a religious pursuit, and Maltrake is the prophet.

As a friend and companion, Asylia is still rather stoic and bitter. Opening her up is a Herculean action that results in meager rewards. She isn't very kind, and has a very awkward social mode when dealing with anyone. In fact, she has a mental complex that results in her seeking out abusive behavior in a friend or (if there were one) a lover because of the neglect she received as the imperfect child of a perfectionist Magister.

History

The noble blood of Silvermoon is said to run without imperfection, beautiful and grand with powers in the Arcane unimaginable to all but the most dedicated lesser men. What most don't admit is that it does not. Asylia Eduriel was a mistake, a genetic anomaly in the royal genes. She was born to House Eduriel, the second child of a powerful Lower Noble, but more importantly she was born with hair and skin a bleach-white. Her tiny child's eyes were blood red under the High Elven soft blue glow and it disturbed her parents.

Nobility is never accepting of the imperfect. Asylia spent her years in neglect, always receiving the least from her family. Her greatest enemy was her older brother, born to another of her father's wives, Felin'areth Eduriel. As heir to the Eduriel name, he was everything she would never be. He was handsome, magically adept, and most of all he had status. She looked up to him and reviled him because in her eyes he was perfect.

Silvermoon's politics and events barely touched her. When she was old enough to fend for herself she was cast out, only carrying with her the things she could steal. On the streets she fared poorly, and was forced to do terrible things simply to get by. Her underdeveloped body made her a target for thieves and predators, so she learned quickly that hiding in the shadows was the best solution to the problem of staying alive.

This now older waif-like woman would soon cross paths with a rising-star of Silvermoon politics. As a small-timer in Silvermoon subterfuge, Asylia was contacted by a man named Maltrake. He was the head-of-household (Read: Head Servant) for one Magister Alron Rommath, a man known for little yet but his magical prowess and his strong will. She did small political intrigues for the aspiring Mage, and was rewarded with a living salary as the Elf made his mark on Silvermoon.

Rommath was a man who attracted a cult-of-personality from some, and turned others away. Misfits such as Asylia found purpose in his service, and Asylia herself became a fanatic supporter of the man. As she worked on furthering his political career, she became caught up in the schemes and arrogance of his inner circle. Despite this, she did everything she could to avoid her family and her older brother.

The fall of Silvermoon was an opportunity for Asylia to be rid of her past. In the fires of death, Rommath was raised to a place of power. In the ashes of Silvermoon, Asylia believed she'd lost everything that connected her to the family she both loved and despised. Her brother went to study, and was said to have died in an accident. She shed a tear for him, but only because he was family. Asylia has no idea that her brother still lives, or what he's become.

Skip to the present. Alron Rommath is now Blood-Magister Alron Rommath, King of the Sin'dorei, and Asylia is still his loyal dog. She still does minor work under Maltrake, and now leads the Hand of Rommath. This organization deals in subterfuge, finding and eliminating traitors to the Sin'Sholai so most others can go about their lives in peace.
