Personality

Ariminus is most of the time a positive, joking man. He loves to drink, although he hasn't done this alot lately. He enjoys the company of most races of the Alliance, though he is insecure on how to conversate with Draeneis and Night Elves.

When Ariminus likes a person, either as a friend or in the other way, his personality can change quite drastically. Among friends he can become a very open, happy man. He will insist on getting a drink or two with them whenever the time allows it. However, when he has gotten a liking for a woman, he becomes abit opposite; atleast at first. His eyes will most likely search for her eyes, at most times not voluntarely. He will be a bit more quiet, even if there are other people around. He will try to smile alot for her, though never overdoing it (so that they think he's a creep).

The enemies of Ariminus will hear crude, mean jokes about them, all coming from Ariminus's grinning lips.

History

Ariminus was born in Lordaeron, to a soldier's family. His father, Tehrad Neretus, was a footman in the large and organized army of Lordaeron. His mother, Ynna Neretus, was a housewife, working in the house and being with the kids. Ariminus was the third child the two had together, and would be the last aswell. Life in Lordaeron was at the time well-enough. Tehrad was making enough money to support the family. But then, the threat of the Horde was a fact, and the army had to leave, to join up with other Alliance forces. His father left, but not without handing over some wooden replicas of a small sword to his sons.

Ariminus loved the sword. When he was growing up, this wooden sword was by his side all the time. When he was so old he could play with it properly, it was one of the most fun things he would do, and did he do it alot! He often pretended that orcs were invading, and he and his friends had to protect the woods from them.

At the age of 6, Ariminus's father returned from the long campaign. The family was together once again, and everyone was happy. Tehrad was proud of that his son had liked the sword since it was first shown to him. He soon started teaching Ariminus some tips and tricks, and also how to strike, defend and move. Ariminus wasn't the quickest learner though, but he knew how to hit quickly from his 'adventures' with his friends. Tehrad also tried to teach him how to use the shield, but defence wasn't something that was of Ariminus's liking. He really enjoyed hacking and slashing in the air with his wooden sword, and occasionally go over to the old-man Dernar's farm, and "kill" some corn. Dernar never got him, but there were times Ariminus had to run as quick as his legs could do, because of Dernar. So, Ariminus kept to just using a sword, for now...

The early life of Ariminus flew by quickly. He soon got a job as a shop-assistant in the capital city. His two brothers were already working; one at an inn and the other in the Guard. So after about a year, the family moved into the capital city. Life here was different. So much people, so much stress. But they did what they could to adapt, which wasn't too hard.

At this teenage-to-twenties part of Ariminus's life, not much happened. Ariminus got a new job at a blacksmith, helping out with the shop. He eventually learned quite abit about weapons, their uses, advantages, downsides et cetera. In this area he proved to be a quick learner, but only because he still had that burning passion for weaponry that he had had as a child.

When Ariminus was 24, the plague struck the lands of Lordaeron. Ariminus quickly left the city after hearing that his mother and two brothers had done so, since that seemed to be the smartest choice. He took up residence in a barn, where some other survivors hid. After staying there for a while, both Ariminus and the others were getting on each-other's nerves. Soon a big argue took place in the barn, involving fighting and screaming. Ariminus wasn't involved, but it would affect him greatly, along with the others... The argue had attracted zombies! As soon as some involved were leaving in anger, the zombies attacked them and then invaded the barn. Ariminus quickly jumped out of an opening on the second floor, and then ran as far as he could. Thinking that he was safe, he throwed himself down on the ground to rest. Lying there, breathing heavily, he didn't notice the movement in the nearby bushes. Suddenly, a bunch of zombies had overmanned him. He managed to crawl away enough to be able to stand up. But one zombie, with a hanging jaw, managed to grab a hold of Ariminus's arm. Frightened like hell, Ariminus was frozen. The zombie then pressed Ariminus's hand into it's monster mouth. Ariminus screamed. He could feel his wrist being chewed apart; bones cracking in a wierd sound. Ariminus felt like he was outside of himself, watching the scene. After long seconds, Ariminus finally tried to run away. The zombie was busy with his hand, so it wouldn't follow. Ariminus first ripped off a piece of his shirt, and tied it around his bloody arm, to stop the bloodflow. He then ran, but he was unsure of how far. Eventually, he couldn't feel his body. So atlast, he stopped. He fell down, and passed out.

Ariminus woke up in a tent. His vision was blurry; his mind was numb. He could se a woman entering with a bucket of water and a piece of cloth. She then dipped the cloth into the water, and dragged it gently over Ariminus's face. He then fell asleep; the fever making him pass out.

The people that had discovered him passed out were some survivors of Lordaeron that was travelling to Stormwind. They took Ariminus with them, in their caravan, and managed to travel all the way down south without any bigger problems. He had been saved.

The weeks following, Ariminus recovered from the blood loss and the fever. He got a job in Stormwind. Not a fun nor good job, but he managed. In the refugee camps he searched for any family member or friend, but he could find any of it. Getting sadder after every time he visited the camps, his fear of Stormwind's fall grew. Many threats lurked the world, many rumours he had heard. After about a year, he swore to himself to try and do what's possible to defend Stormwind. He didn't want to sign for the army though. He didn't trust that it could fend off every threat to the city itself, since it is divided in different parts of the Kingdom. So, after some time of planning and thinking, he founded a League. A league that would infiltrate the underground of Stormwind. A league that would fend off threats the army could not see. The Lion's League.

The following years, Ariminus was entirely devoted to the League's growth and strength. He quit his job, since the League was actually making an income. The League was moderately large, and everything was working well enough. But, when he was 30, and the League was at it's prime, gangs started assassinating members, one by one. Ariminus had no choice but to hide. Those in the League who were not killed, fled. They didn't want no part in it after the massacre.

While hiding, Ariminus refreshed his skills with the sword. He was soon able to wield a lesser two-hander in one hand, though he was very clumsy fighting with it. But, his goal was set, and he practised whenever he could.

Now, a year has passed, and Ariminus has come out of his hiding. He has restarted the League, still wanting to protect the city of Stormwind. Recruitment is his main focus as of now. But other things will come; other things will affect his life...
