Previously an incredibly rude and childish citizen of Silvermoon, Arias was changed while watching the fall of his parents and the people around him. Not long after he'd returned to re-established Silvermoon, he'd lost the will to become a paladin, and had gained the will to help those of the city who strained to help themselves.

Arias is a helpful, generally kind Blood Elf, who, while serious, can very easily find the time to make light of a situation. Although he's often busy hunting and scavenging for the good of others, he's not much of a loner and does very well around company.

History

Arias was born and raised in high elven Silvermoon City. As a child, he basked in his own naive and cocky personality often. Arias sought to follow and then surpass his blood knight father, to eventually become the greatest paladin Silvermoon would ever see. Although pompous and rude, Arias saw the destruction that the Lich King, Arthas left in his wake as he passed through Silvermoon. Luckily, he survived the ruthless attack along with his parents. However, when his military-aligned mother and father were assigned to survey the wreckage of half of the previously glorious city, Arias wouldn't let them keep him from joining them, using the guise that he wanted to show everyone how brave a paladin he would become. The lie grew within him as he watched the continuing death in the broken city.

Arias put his full trust in his father, who talked endlessly of how the Soelthar family would alone ravage Icecrown Citadel and put an end to the lich king and his parasitic scourge. Within weeks, although unbeknownst to Arias, everyone surrounding him began to change. Their addiction to magic was ripping them apart, both mentally and physically. His parents kept holding onto their magical means and strained themselves to defend their relocation spot against the wretched. According to Arias's father, they were "practicing for their revenge." When the effects began to grasp the Soelthars, Arias's mother came to him in confidence, procuring an artifact which she gave him and told him to consume. As the fel energy protected his faltering strength, Arias became dillusional to the fall of those who remained around him.

After months without word from his brother, Arias's uncle, Daeroth, went searching for the lost members of his extended family. When he found them, the moment of recognition was almost coincidental. Although Arias kept his trust instilled within his corrupted father, he obeyed his uncle and fled immediately to the stronger half of Silvermoon as Daeroth wrought his blade upon both of Arias's parents to prevent them from following him and corrupting him further.

As months passed, Arias lingered inside the household of his uncle, spending his time avoiding his former life and trying to comprehend what had happened since the destruction of his beloved city. When he finally left the domain, Arias saw the pain that still plagued the city, especially in the areas housing his old friends. As he came to recognition with the events of his past and what was happening now, Arias gave up his life as a paladin, semi-reluctantly due to his uncle's disapproval.

Dedicated to feeding the now-predominant hungry, Arias relinquished what training he had to pick up the path of becoming a hunter. He roamed Eversong Woods, befriending his Blood Elf brethren and doing his job as a hunter of Silvermoon. Arias made a single visit out of Quel'Thalas to see Orgrimmar and meet some of those who so graciously aided his race when their former allies refused to. Working to reconstruct Silvermoon and help to further profit his new allies, Arias stands proud within Silvermoon. Now tied to the races of the horde, Arias acts his part perfectly to help. Further, he would -never- betray any of them.
