Personality

Arianna is a rather cowardly mage. If she expects danger for herself, she makes sure that there is something between her and harm. Her sense of self-preservation is very strong, and she will often forsake others in order to protect herself. Because of this, she seems to have a very distant relationship with others whom she might deep 'expendable'. She never applies this to those whom she considers her friends though, and would defend them until she believed she could no longer be of use to them.

Being a Blood Elf, Arianna is a little bit racist. She believes in stereotypes, and because of this thinks that 'An Orc is a brutish barbarian', 'A Human is a backstabber', and so forth. She holds onto her stereotypes unless someone gives her reason to believe otherwise. She seems to be especially racist towards humans, wishing for nothing more than their destruction.

If one manages to break through the anti-social barriers that Arianna hides behind, they would find a rather caring person. She is a bit of a clutz, and acts before she thinks. This has often led to her conversations becoming very awkward very fast, much to her chargin. If she does manage to make the conversation awkward, she will quickly become frustrated, possibly throwing a little hissy fit.

History

Arianna was born to an upper class family in High Elven Silvermoon society. Her mother and father were both well respected mages in the city. So it was only natural that when she herself grew older, she would be sent to receive training towards becoming a mage as well. And as she underwent training, it seemed she would become a rather promising mage. She was smart, intelligent, and had a decent work effort. All things that a good spellcaster needed.

A very large portion of her life was without major event. She had a number of meaningless flings with other High Elves, though mostly dedicated herself to her studies. It wasn't until the Lich King's servant Arthas came to Silvermoon that her life took a turn for the worse. She was ordered to flee the city by her parents, and flee she did. She managed to escape the deadly fate that awaited the others whom remained in the City, and is thankful for it. Unfortunately, she never saw her parents again from that day foward.

She would return to the City some time after the battle, after hearing word of Prince Kael'thas' return. She found him gathering survivors, and swiftly joined him. Though she was too young to fight, still but a child to Blood Elves, she did her best to help with what she could towards their cause. But the real benefit of this all was that she would be able to continue her studies as a mage, and continue them she did.

The events of the third war were rather rough on Arianna. When she heard of the human's bretrayal of her kind, she was furious. 'How!? Why would they betray us?' she would often ask herself. 'What have we done to offend them? After all the Elves had done for their putrid kind!'

It was because of her anger towards humans that she accepted the moniker of 'Blood Elf' with glee. To remember the fallen. To work towards what her slain parents would want her to become. These things motivated her. Motivated her to try to become a benefit for her race.

She was generally happy that the Horde would accept her people as allies. Gratious towards them, yet always suspicious. After the alliance was forged, she would soon join the military, having finally come of age to fight on the front lines. With her spells at hand, surely someone in the Horde armies could use her. Right?
