The same goes with her weapon, she is constantly changing what she holds to try and find one that truly feels right in her hands.

Personality

Aria "Earthbound" Cole was always kept in the dark about what happened with the crash, until the very day her father died in it. This created an almost innocent personality to her, and she matured very slowly. Rather than acting her 'age', she is mentally as mature as a modern sixteen year old.

After realizing how corrupted Azeroth seemed to her, she took her own path of shamanism, taking it to heart, and almost being considered an extremist in her views on how the natural world should be treated. She would go to the end of the earth and back to protect what is left of what she considers a 'dying world'. This includes acts of violence against those who would 'commit a crime against nature', or people who would attribute to the corruption.

Her biggest flaw would have to be hubris, or thinking she can do anything. This is mainly because of the way she quickly transitioned from 'innocent girl' to 'terroristic goody two shoes' and believes she has 'helped the greater good' with the trouble and misadventures she's gotten into. She believes that what she does is entirely right, and that those who would oppose her (especially officials of the law who oppose her) are all criminals, and should be punished for their 'crimes against nature'. She can be considered a zealot in that manner, and truthfully, she is.

Aria is very shy when meeting new people, however, but tries to coax their alignment out of them as soon and however possible so she knows who or 'what' she is acquainting herself with. Once she has become friendly with someone, she becomes extremely affectionate, and would give her own life in a second to defend her friends. However, she sometimes loses her own vision of reality and deludes herself into thinking there is more feeling then there truly is, thinking that someone finds her a close friend when they may think of her as just someone to talk to. She becomes very upset with herself when this happens and she is made aware of her misinformation, and easily spirals into a depression and will sometimes disappear for days, even weeks into nature to meditate and comes to grips with herself and returns to a town, but tries to avoid too much familiarity with the one she got too friendly with. Another one of her strange social traits was that she dubbed herself with the 'surname' Cole to fit into the human populace a little more. Although whether it really counts or not is... questionable.

It can be noted that she seems almost more powerful when she returns from her self exile, and is notably more in synchronization with nature, caused by her meditation in exile. As with every time she does this, she will end up more powerful until her hubris kicks in and she realizes that in her vanity, she is less powerful then ever, and once again returns to exile to meditate. It takes time for her to realize her mistakes in assuming her own power, but as well, it takes time for her to return to a steady foothold in her abilities after she catches herself.

Alignment: (Optional.) Aria is always neutral in her own way. She has a strong moral sense toward what she feels right, even if it doesn't side with the law. Specifically, if she feels that a person has committed a crime against nature or an unforgivable sin, she would take the matters into her own hands and bring the 'criminal' to 'justice'. The main area of her siding would be a natural balance, meaning that if a man chops a tree, he should be told to plant a new one. However, if a man slaughters an animal with no reason to do so, he should himself be slaughtered. (Neutral Good)

History

From early childhood, Aria Cole was kept in the dark about the evils of the world and the inevitable corruption that comes with sentient life by her over-protective father. He knew of the dark truths of the world, and wanted to shield his daughter from them. However, when the Exodar crashed into Azeroth, her father was killed.

Aria quickly degraded into a dark mentality after her father's death, only to be saved by her innocent younger sister, Ciella. Ciella assured Aria that what happened was not her fault, that whatever happens was meant to be, and that their father was happy in his new home in the afterlife. Aria was touched by the words of her sister, and began her life anew. She began working to renew the balance of nature, and trying to restore the site of the Exodar's crash to its former beauty, to not much avail. She began to do simple jobs around the crash site, helping to heal those injured by the crash, to destroy the creations of the Exodar's corruption, and the like.

One of the main differences between her and the others in her small "home" was that she followed the path of shamanism rather than to follow the path of light as many others of her kind had. The main reason for this defection was that the curroption of the nature around her was one of the first experiences she had after the crash, particularly an encounter with a volatile creation of the Exodar's curroption. The huge unbalancing made Aria think that if she could commune with nature and tap into it, she might be able to help restore it. So she strayed from the path of light to persue the path of a shaman. As she came into contact with the elementals who aided her in tapping into nature's primal energy, she began to see the earth as more than just an environment, but a living system. In itself, it was a perfect society. A system of checks and balances within nature that is 'programmed' into the very minds of beings of lesser intelligence. Had there been no interference from the intelligent life of the humanoids, the environment would still be a perfect society, she began to think. And so she began to commune and synchronize with nature as if it were another being on the whole, rather than just tapping into seperate entities and beings to try and understand. She would speak to nature, in a sense. It brought her to believe that maybe, just maybe, she could restore the balance.

However, more recently, she knew that she could not do any more for the valley that became her new home, and decided to leave. She sailed away and eventually came to the Night Elf Haven on Teldrassil and found that it was the perfect ideal in her eyes, and decided to live there as much as she could when she wasn't out on her adventuring. She was always seen as an outcast, as she was much more zealous, but was welcomed into the city always...for a time.

When her actions against the offenders to nature became violent, Aria was told she was no longer welcome to stay in their cities, as she would more than likely bring trouble to their doorstep. She was told her violent tendencies against those who she found guilty of crimes against nature would cause more problems then it would solve, and it could bring dishonor to the cities of the Kaldorei. She was allowed to visit, but she was effectively 'evicted' from her home with the Kaldorei. From there she moved into exile in the forests of Elwynn, where she began to truly develop her abilities, rather than just the basics of tapping into nature. From there her adventure truly began.
