Antaana will gladly listen to any story or question told before her and answer as best as she possibly can, trying to be as helpful as she can. She is open and honest to the extreme, likely to insult one while in the cheerful spirit of the conversation, confused if her good will is reacted negatively upon. Any sign of disrespect shown to her she will usually ignore to a certain extent, but if the line is pushed too far and crossed, she will not hold her anger inside.

Usually a patient draenei, she appreciates her bond with the Light, praising it openly. Few times a day she sets down to thank the Light for all the good she meets, or plead in favor of all the people who did her wrong, and/or needed help.

Wanting to spread the work of Light through her own being, she works as a traveling healer amongst the Alliance, walking their lands to seek out the ones requiring aid, be it healing, curing sicknesses or helping that poor old farmer to drag his cart out of the mud. She never asks for any payment, but accepts what is given to her, thankful for what food or money she receives.

Driven by the inner emotions she feels by experiencing the beauty of the world around her, she practices arts of drawing and painting. She would always carry the basic items needed for sketching along with her, sometimes stopping in her travel to capture a piece of scenery onto paper. Casually, as a form of evening meditation she would use the graphite as the tool of channeling emotions from within her, sitting in a trance as her hand slides across the paper in a manner according to her mood.

Similar to the other draenei, Antaana hates orcs.

History

Antaana was born on a draenei ship, during their flee from the Burning Legion chasing them. When she was mature enough, following her family's tradition she started her training as a priestess of the Naaru. At the time when the draenei settled on Draenor, Antaana became an anchorite with her hundreds of years of training. She lived with her family in a peaceful draenei village.

When the Orc's first attack in those parts of Draenor fell upon her village, Antaana was contemplating in a temple of the Light. Doing what she considered the most helpful she gathered as many villagers as she could and led them away into safety. When the news of her parents and siblings being murdered under the attack reached her, a deep hate for Orcs was born in her heart. Never skilled in fighting, she devoted herself to bettering her healing abilities to be able to more effectively protect the members of her race from the same loss that befell her.

After a few years of battling and fleeing, Antaana found herself a part of the group led by prophet Velen. Together with then she fled to Zangarmarsh, hiding out from the corrupted orcs and draenei. When some time passed, the group came out of hiding and raided the Tempest Keep (held by the blood elves) and managed to gain control of one of its wings, The Exodar. In their plan it was to flee Draenor and find aid in retaking it. The blood elves however sabotaged the engine of The Exodar, resulting in draenei crash landing on the planet Azeroth.

Alive but wounded, Antaana woke up in a forest, surrounded by parts of the debris. Praying to the Light she healed most of her wounds and soon set out on her way to search for any other draenei. Finding a settlement of survivors in a part of the debris, Antaana joined them and helped out in rescuing any of the wounded, later helping on cleansing land and its creatures from the effect their ship's debris had on them. In that time, advised by a friend Antaana began to practice drawing as a way of meditation.

A few months later, hearing about a great human city and its Cathedral of Light, Antaana traveled to Stormwind to find if there is anything she could learn from the followers of Light living there. When she reached her destination she learned that the humans' approach towards the Light was foremost based on philosophy of the Light, not an actual feeling of it. After a while of trying to learn anything at the Cathedral, she left Stormwind and started traveling through the human lands, helping the people in need of aid. By helping the others by any way she could, she beleived her healing skills and way of living would nothing but improve. Every time she visited a bigger city, she sent all the money she earned or that was pushed into her hands to be deposited in Stormwind, never drawing as much as a copper coin from it. When in her travels she was met by hunger, she sold anything she would draw or paint.

Despite of her means to help anyone, the human commoners generally disliked her, was it for her strange to them looks, or for her suspicious openness and honesty. In most of the times she rescued anyone from death or sickness, she was paid money as the humans couldn't accept a favor from a creature like her. To many she was the first draenei they have ever seen, and although the news of her race has reached most of the towns, it was hard for the humans to accept her. The first draenei she met since she left Stormwind was Anchorite Delan in a town of Darkshire in Duskwood. Strangely enough, the people of Darkshire did not react upon her same negatively. Asked by the fellow anchorite to help any way she could with the dealing of the undeath problem, Antaana stayed in those parts for two months. When a few more draenei arrived to help, she left Duskwood and traveled back to Elwynn Forest. At that time more and more draenei crossed her way, most of them she knew from The Exodar, others she never met before. Since then less and less humans looked down at her, although they still approached her with restraint and lack of trust.

Some time later while walking by a river parting the forest from Duskwood, she stumbled upon a human paladin. As she haven't met anyone in the last few days, she was curious about who he was and engaged in a conversation with him. She walked along with him for close to two hours, but as he regressed from making acquaintance with her and started to coldly suggest he'd rather travel alone, she stayed behind. After a while of walking in the opposite direction she realized that this part of the forest was unknown to her. She tried to walk in the direction of the sun to keep at least walking more or less same way, but soon the clouds covered the sky, sending rain down to the ground. Disoriented and slowly soaking wet, she soon lost her way completely. Deciding to wait for the clouds to pass, she found a tree with particularly thick branches and sat down under it, thanking the Light for that at least the rain didn't fall on her.

As she sat there, meditating, a group of thugs surrounded her, their steps not louder than the raindrops falling on leaves and the ground. Antaana did not notice them until one of the band approached her, standing right above her. In a reaction worked out through the years of being under threat of attack, as she noticed a blade in the human's hand she pushed herself hard from the tree, her upright horns landing in the man's stomach. As the thug bent in half gasping for air and groaning in pain, she shoved him away and jumped to her hooves. She found herself surrounded by five humans, at which all of them stood enough distance from one another to be safe of her attacks and grab her in case she decided to fight any of them. Antaana however was not skilled in fighting and the situation was hopeless for her.

As the thugs started all at once coming step by step closer to her, obviously in ill intentions she started calling for help. One of the thugs assured her that nobody would come, but just a while later the group was attacked from behind. What looked like a human paladin armed with a hammer started hitting the bandits, aimed to kill. Using the time of their distraction, Antaana used her staff at the backs of two of the humans, striking them to the ground. They too were soon killed. After the battle, Antaana looked closer at her rescuer and found his armor familiar. As he took off his helmet, she recognized him as the paladin she met a few hours earlier while walking. It appeared that by chance she was walking more or less the same direction as he was. Again, Antaana thanked the Light for that, and went along with the human, as he insisted on leading her to safety.

In the travel the human no longer was cold towards her, though he still showed some restraint in talking about himself. Curious of who he was, where was he traveling and why is he so gloomy for a paladin, she kept on asking him questions and trying to make him answer to at least some of them. When they reached Lakeshire, he rented a room for them where they spent the night. With every question from her he answered more sarcastically, till the point he was nearly rude. In the morning she woke up earlier than he did and spent an hour meditating and clearing her thoughts. She had realized that she was much too intrusive on the human and when he woke up she thanked him sincerely for the kindness he showed her as he was the first human she met to do so.

A day later discussion broke off between Antaana and the human. She wanted to either go her way or stay with him while he wanted her to be safe. She refused to be led to Stormwind and stay there, and as she had no family to go back to, he agreed to let her stay with him for the time being. As the time passed and they were traveling together, slowly they started gaining stronger feeling towards each other, she trying her best to understand and befriend him better, he returning the favor and opening himself more to him, teaching her about his culture while he learned about hers. Antaana fell in love with him, choosing him as her partner for life and he fell in love with her. Later they married and had a quiet little wedding at which no one else attended, since both of them had lost their parents during war.

Soon after they traveled together to Stormwind. While Antaana's husband was spending his time in the Cathedral, training and relearning his paladin ways, Antaana continued her job as a traveling healer, mostly though staying in the City and the areas close to it.Though the fact was clear to her that her husband's life will be so much shorter than hers, she was content with her choice of her life's only partner, happy to be with him every day or minute she could.
