Personality

Alignment: Neutral Evil

Anryia is a ruthless opponent in battle, the years after her death and the constant hatred from the living has made her extremely bitter. However, she generally avoids getting into battle in the first place, because she'd much rather make two allies fight against each other, then exploit their weaknesses so they both die painfully with the least trouble for her.

As an alchemist, Anryia's home is in a laboratory. The more materials she has to work with, the more 'content' she is and the less likely someone is to die if things get broken or don't work. And since she is undead and no longer requires food or sleep, she has been known to go days creating exilers and other horrid mixtures without any sort of break.

Her mood is in a constant state of relaxation, as most people cannot rile her up, regardless of what they say to her. This is not out of heartlessness; she has just stopped caring about other people's issues unless they somehow affect her personally.

History

A lower rank captain during the seige of Quel'thalas, Anryia was part of the defensive line to guard her beloved city. She relied on elixers and acids to destroy her opponents, the Scourge. In the midst of battle, Anryia fought a powerful necromancer. She broke through his stave and stabbed her blade through his chest, right through the vile man's heart. She fled into the forest shortly thereafter, another necromancer swearing revenge on the elf for his fallen comrade.

A few years after the war and after suffering from the constant intake of fel magic, Anryia was slowly making her way through Eversong Forest when she was attacked by multiple robed men. Their shadowbolts whizzed through the air, striking trees and crashing into her as well. She maneuvered herself carefully, finally charging towards one of the robed men and stabbing them through the chest. The elf recoiled in horror, recognizing the man as the necromancer that swore revenge against her. Her minor delay was enough. She felt a burning sensation in her back, and her world went dark. She knew that she was at the end of her life.

But fate would not let her pass on so easily. She awoke, cold and clammy in her blood stained armor. Her thoughts trailed back to the battle, and one question kept coming back, 'Why am I not dead?!' In a moment, she realized the truth. Anryia was dead...well, undead to be precise. Her heart had stopped beating, her lungs no longer needed oxygen, and her body was no longer under her control. She drew her blade from the necromancer, who had now become a ghoul thanks to one of his allies, and was led away from her beloved homeland to never return.

Anryia would later find herself in Northrend sometime after that, being renamed as a 'Death Knight'. She was given blackened armorsomething that would have made her skin crawl if it were not already lifeless and empty. She also recieved her runeblade, leaving it nameless. She would continue to serve the Lich King until the incident at Light Hope's Chapel, where Arthas lost his power momentarily and Anryia gained her freedom. She immediately went to the Undercity, hearing of others just like her. Along the way, she thought of a name for her weapon, Blood Sun. She immediately pledged herself to the Forsaken and the Banshee Queen's ideals, heading to work for the Royal Apothecary Society. She felt her elixers could be very useful to the Forsaken and their cause. She has not returned to the Sin'dorei capital since she attacked it, but if she did, she would find a grave with her name on it, and a single crimson rose atop the the gravestone.
