Information

Player: xAnimaSola

Character Full Name: Anixia Sunstalker

Character In-Game Name: Ixxi

Nickname(s): Ixxi, Xia, Nixi

Association(s): Scryers, B.O.O.M.

Race: Blood Elf

Class: Hunter

Skills and Abilities: Ixxi has little to any martial skill, working solely as an engineer. However, she is proficient in weapons she creates, but not anything she hasn’t. Anixia ‘s true strength, however, lies in her intellect. She is exceptionally gifted in the mechanical field and able to process mathematics quicker than most.

Age: 411

Sex: Female

Hair: Brown

Eyes: Green

Weight: 116

Height: 5’5”

Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: She changes her clothing often. When in a city or a place where there are a lot of people, she will wear a minimalist yet fashionable dress along with jewelry (necklaces or bangles) that double as some sort of mechanism. When traveling she likes to wear pants and a top (and a thick jacket if traveling through a colder place; the jacket sleeves will likely contain some kind of blade that can be triggered)

Personality

Alignment: True Neutral

Anixia may have been a fairly intelligible, brilliant, and fairly shy person before, but that’s all changed. Anixia, now referring herself only as Ixxi, is an eccentric, childish blood elf who acts less than a fraction of her age and is far less coherent than before.

Since her teleportation accident, her speech has suffered more so than it had before. People might observe abnormalities such as verbosity, sudden transitions, and literal interpretations, use of metaphors meaningful to only herself, ceremonial or idiosyncratic speech, and oddities in loudness, pitch, intonation, prosody, and rhythm.

If one can get by her odd means of communication and often energetic behavior, they might also notice the wild and uncontrolled train of thought in Anixia’s head. She is easily distracted, convinced, and fooled. One might call her an airhead, or scatterbrained. However, when Anixia desires something, she will stop at nothing to attain it, often going to great lengths beyond expectation with little to no concern for consequences of any measure. That is until, of course, Anixia’s attention goes out the window and she decides to pursue something else… or stare blankly into space.

Overall, Anixia still has some semblance of a conscience, questioning certain things on ethics and morality… though that may not always be enough to stop her or cause her to stop someone else. She might only ponder the event.

History

Anixia Sunstalker grew up in a family of 2 other sisters, Aoen and Siena, and two very close cousins, Nik’drasil and Kael’arin. The Sunstalker family always had its quirks and oddities but no one was stranger than Anixia. Since she was a child, her family knew something was different about her, and not necessarily in a good way. Anixia was diagnosed with a mental disorder afflicting her with significant difficulties in social interaction, nonverbal communication, lack of empathy, restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests.

Anixia was still, however, admitted to school, showing an unnatural learning capacity which was far beyond that of her peers. However, during her teenage years, she was frequently bullied and teased at school. To escape reality, she turned to tinkering and solving puzzles. Often she’d write long and complex equations just so she would have something to solve and take her mind off her troubles.

One day, Anixia was being bullied again. Her tormentors had sabotaged her belongings, causing a balloon of ink to pop inside her satchel, coating her drawings, books, clothes, and her face in black ink. Her classmates laughed around her, making cruel remarks and teasing her to no end. It was at that point Anixia became so embarassed and humiliated that she destroyed the room, tossing furniture at the windows, tipping over book cases and even setting fire to a few things. It wasn’t until her sisters heard of the trouble that they found Anixia simply standing in a burning room.

The headmaster made attempts to speak to Anixia about her troubles, knowing that she was being bullied and who was doing it. Anixia did not even open her mouth. The issue was never resolved with the school. The teasing never stopped.

Anixia had silently brooded in her mind for months. Secretly, during her crafting classes, she had been constructing devious devices which came into use later on. Bullies had teased her again one day, physically pushing her about until she fired a hidden wrist-mounted blade launcher constructed from materials at school and a steak knife from home. She hadn’t killed the bully, but she meant to. This, of course, never sat well with the school.

The academy had made an offer to Anixia’s parents to deal with this bully problem once and for all, but her family had decided the school was too late and the issue should have been dealt with years ago. Anixia was sent to work with the Farstriders and aiding in the construction and repair of all mechanical devices. However, even there, she could not escape harassment. As she accepted the teasing day by day, Anixia waited for the Farstriders to hold an important reconnaissance position before revealing its location in a glorious display of fireworks, sabotaging the entire mission.

Anixia was quickly reprimanded and sent back to her family for her misconduct. It was then they had decided to send her off to the Cogspark’s Institution for Engineering in Stranglethorn Vale. It was there Anixia flourished. She graduated with highest honors, and returned back home. By the time she returned home, her sisters had left to pursue their own goals.

Anixia, with no profitable use of engineering in Silvermoon, left to follow Kael’thas and his ventures into Outland, hoping that she could expand her engineering proficiency elsewhere. She worked as an engineer, and was greatly praised for her work which made her the happiest she had been in decades. However, her service to Kael’thas was short lived. She quickly questioned his motives, declining her aid to the assault on Tempest Keep and the sabotaging of the Exodar. She had wondered why it was necessary, and thus sat herself out of the chaos. Upon hearing of his betrayal, she split away from Kael’thas’ forces and joined the Scryers. She took to aiding the Naaru in repairing Shattrath City, and basking in the vast collection of knowledge that the Scryers had in their possession.

While venturing with the Scryers to halt the Sunfury operations in Netherstorm, Anixia eventually settled with occupying goblins. She joined B.O.O.M. where she had resources and felt comfortable surrounded by equipment. The solitude of Netherstorm was the perfect place to operate and the ambition of her fellow engineers was a refreshing air. While Anixia didn’t lend too much aid to the goblin rocket project, she did explore other options of journeying into the Twisting Nether. She sought to travel to other planets through the means of creating wormholes. She was certain that it would make for an easy way to eradicate demons if they could simply transport weapons of mass destruction to their planets. Anixia’s projects led to many mistakes and accidents, one of which involved an energy bomb prototype which damaged the tendons in her left arm.

She was discharged and upset, but thanks to her previous attendance to the engineering academy she was the proposed the opportunity of regaining the general use of her left arm. Her colleagues developed a mechanical aid for Anixia’s arm, a simple device utilizing hydraulics which granted her the ability to lift normal items again. Anixia returned to B.O.O.M. and began building weapons capable of leveling cities. It was then Anixia was considered to be too dangerous. However, a goblin who noticed Anixia’s passion for her project became concerned with the idea. The goblin sought to stop her, making many attempts to talk to her… and then changed a few settings on Anixia’s teleporter before she had used it.

The moment Anixia stepped through she suffered what engineers referred to as transdimensional existential segmentation, otherwise known as a soul-split. It was documented this was one of the many possible outcomes of haphazardly calculated teleportation. Half of her was transported to the middle of the Tanaris desert. And the other half… no one knows.

The half that landed in Tanaris was left completely changed. She retained much of her engineering prowess but her shy and reserved personality was gone, as was her maturity and somewhat coherent means of speech. She was left an extremely childish, gullible, and silly blood elf. While her brain was as brilliant as ever, her personality was eccentric. Her clumsy and outrageous behavior was hardly accepted by her peers, never mind the general public who viewed her as a lunatic. She was barred from returning to B.O.O.M. and left to be an independent contractor to various employers once she was able to demonstrate her technology and inventive nature still existed within her.

To this day, Anixia, now referring to herself in third person as Ixxi, is left searching for her other half, constantly reminded of her complication as she is occasionally shocked by dimensional tension of her two halves trying to reunite. Until then, her journeys take her across the globe, spreading her crazy, and eerily adorable charm wherever she goes.
