Of course, it all changed upon her resurrection and recruitment to the Scourge, being a Death Knight, Aly lost all old images of herself, and she became neutral, since she knew her sisters will now kill her on sight, yet some of her natural enemies will accept her, she decides to give everyone a fair chance, yet she isn't friendly, she will usually stay armed in the company of others, just in case someone decided to play a hero.

History

Alywien was born in Ashenvale, her mother a sentinel and her father a herbalist. They lived a happy life; she was just like any other child, and usually played with the other children. Sometimes they pretended to be hunters, hunting for imaginary beasts, or they were sentinels, fending off an enemy that didn't exist anywhere but in their minds.

The years passed peacefully, and her mother took her to teach her the way of the Sentinels, which she took to more than gladly, thrilled to become a brave woman like her mother. The training was long and hard; they traveled across the elven lands, to Winterspring, to Darkshore, and even to the Azuremyst isles while they were still Elven lands. She focused on the mastery of blades, seeing she had no true skill in marksmanship. Soon, Alywien grew from a young girl to a young woman, attracting quite a few eyes here and there. While she herself acclimated to the awkward changes she had an affair behind her mother's back, which lasted for many long years. Eventually marriage was in their heads of the couple, but the secret affair was ended by her mother, who thought she was far too young and should focus on her training, and not on boys. Alywien had no other choice but to agree, and her mother moved the entire family to Winterspring, for no other reason than to ensure her word would stay just as strong.

Many years passed blankly with training and hunting, Alywien became a lovely woman and a strong fighter, and it would seem just in time as a great war called them south to seal fate of the Kal'dorei.

She and her mother fought long, and her father helped make medicines for the wounded in Ashenvale with herbs. The battles took a toll on them all, and Alywien entered a long period of mourning: mourning of her brethren, of her former lover, of her many childhood friends, and of course, of her parents-- her mother who fought to the end, and her father who never had much of a chance. Alywien escaped, the horrors silencing her hope forever. She ran for cover until the war was over, and even afterwards ran more. She ran until she heard the elves had set a new city, Darnassus, in a new tree: Teldrassil.

She set sail to Teldrassil, helping there and joining the remaining Sentinels that returned from across Kalimdor. But still she was haunted in her sleep, constantly seeing he horrors of the war, just as many did. Everything changed when she met a Kaldorei member of the Argent Dawn, one that understood her pain, who offered her to join him on his journey and to join the Dawn as well, and she did.

They traveled across Kalimdor, fending off the Legion and Scourge remains from the war, fighting long and hard. But now she fought for a different cause. Alywien felt better, knowing she protected not only her people, but she was protected the people of the world as well. She felt this way until the day came that their ways would part, and he was assigned to Light's Hope Chapel.

She wept at night for his absence, and she begged her superiors to be assigned there as well. They were surprised at the woman's grasp of Common, and after two years passed, the request was approved.

The travel to the Chapel took nearly a year, and when she got there she found the horrifying truth: he was dead, risen as a Death Knight in the new Necropolis near New Avalon. Rage and retribution feeding her strength, she fought the undead violently, slaughtering many of them only to be outnumbered in the end. Alywien had failed, she had fallen.

She doesn't know when, or how long after, but she woke up in the strange place that was Acherus, the voice of the Lich King taking over her mind. As her first task she was made to kill one too weak to become a knight. It was her companion.

She slaughtered him uncontrollably, a deed she regrets to this very day. In fact, she regrets all the bloodshed she caused, the countless numbers of people she slaughtered. Her new master's sickening laughter echoed with every murder committed was lost in her own mind, the body no longer her own. And then came hope, in the form of a new battle.

All the knights were summoned to Light's Hope Chapel, the place where she had served before becoming a Scourge monstrosity. The battle was long, but in the end Arthas and the knights were defeated. The Lich King fled, and the knights were united by the majordomo of Acherus, Darion Mograine.

Alywien joined the Ebon Blade, but it didn't take long for her to flee, feeling haunted. She fled to Kalimdor, avoiding the people who she once called brothers and sisters, the men and woman that will now kill her without a second thought. She kept traveling across Azeroth, trying to find a new home.

Skills and Abilities: Alysa is a skilled fighter with both 1 handed blades, and the Death Knight Magic, combining the Kaldorei Sentinel finesse with the unholy brutality of the undead.
