Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Alexis had once enjoyed the finer things in life, sadly death ripped most of that away from her. Her choice in clothing, however, remained the same. She tends to dress down in cities, not wearing her bulking armor in order to avoid making people feel uncomfortable with the presence of a death knight. The most noticeable thing about her civilian clothing is that she still wears a pair of plate boots and her hat. Her hat is black with a sabor print pattern around the brim and in the center and tends to be pulled down in order to cover her eyes. Her armor is simply big and clunky, not special from any other sets of armor that one may come in contact with.

Other: Considered she was lucky enough to be raised moments after her death, her skin has kept its dark hue and even her freckles remain plastered over her face. Her skin is scarred, though not horribly so and the scars are nothing special.

Personality

Alignment: Neutral Evil

Having always been somewhat of a brute, Alexis mostly has no care in the world about herself and others. She feels no remorse for the acts she commits and simply calls them part of her job. She is smart enough to know that public acts of random violence is not supported and keeps most of the harm she causes in the cells of her employers.

Alexis is very blunt in her speaking and makes no effort to sugar-coat her words or her feelings about others. If she does not approve of someone's presence, she will make the subject loudly known until the bane of her upset is gone from her view. She dislikes the light and its followers and actively attempts to convert it's followers to a more sinister path. She keeps such thoughts to herself while inside the city of Stormwind, knowing many of the priests and paladins there would love for an excuse to ride the world of her kind.

To this day she will never admit to doing any wrongs while under the service of the Lich King and tends to call those who hate her for her state of undeath fools. She had no control over herself and as such does not feel bad for the actions her body did while she was under control. She has yet to express sorrow for her deeds, even when confronted, and defends her current profession under the excuse of "better some low-life than someone -you- know.".

While she is more brawn than brains, she is not unintelligent and possesses the skill of common sense.

History

Born under the stars between a gypsy-like mother who traveled with a caravan and a supposed man of the light, Alexis grew up only knowing her mother, her mother's traveling companions, and their profound hatred of the light. Her father had left days after the coupling with a group of wandering priests and left a rather bitter taste in the mouth of the mother. The family she grew with never left a good impression of the Light with the young girl either as she grew between caravan routes.

Once she was old enough not to depend on her mother as much, she was passed around between each caravan wagon in order to be raised by different people for different amounts of time. Alexis never felt as if she was with a family and felt more like she was being raised by people due to them having an obligation to do so. She never had the chance to bond with anyone before she was passed on to the next family only to be treated with a cold indifference at her presence. Finally, then the group stopped at Stormwind, she would leave the caravan group after eleven years of getting passed around.

Once in Stormwind, she was passed on to the orphanage once it was realized she was there with no known parents. The young girl objected this fact and demanded to meet her father who had claimed to be a priest. Her demands were passed over and the girl was made to live with a bunch of other screaming children who had no parents to claim. Her time there was met with much annoyance. Being that she was much too tomboyish, she was often over-looked and ended up serving as an aid to the Matron until she was eighteen years of age and able to leave the orphanage on her own.

Now a rather large woman, Alexis enlisted with the military in order to find a way to earn coin that didn't require a pretty face and loose skirt. She was taunted by her peers for her size and sex but made it a point to take them down in training in order to get her point across. She was found to be gifted in strength over intelligence and was used as a rank and file soldier. The taunts died down from the men in her unit, but were quickly picked up by the women who made fun of her for having a built appearance instead of a 'normal' slender body.

She served in the military up until the first war in which she fought against the orcs. Her unit was no match for the creatures and they were forced to retreat in shame. They regrouped with other units to lick their wounds and crushed pride up and waiting until the order came to strike back at them. Her unit was one of the first to strike back during the second war, having been doing nothing but training in their spare time in order to match the orcs in strength.

Alexis received a 'promotion' a few days later in order to serve as an interrogator for the Alliance. She accepted, having had enough with being ordered around like a common dog in the army. Her first few jobs were upsetting, but soon she grew used to having to extract information though whatever means necessary. Her favorite method became using a blunt mace in order to break bones without fatally wounding her subject. Her job eventually lead up to an emotionally dead state so that no criminal could attempt to take advantage of her regret.

Soon enough she would find that her old methods were no longer suitable, thus she would come up with more ways in order to extract information. She started to use a shadow priest assistant in order to gain knowledge of her subject's worst fears and would build devices around them in order to get them to talk. She would brew potions in which would cause her subjects to feel horrible things and her physical attacks became more lethal. Many feared she was going overboard, but so long as she was getting the job done no one outright complained.

This all changed when one of the criminals was let free and told anyone he could about the horrors he had suffered. Many people demanded that such practices have an end put to them. In order to appease the public, Alexis was fired from her job dishonorably so that the superiors could claim that she was acting on her own. In anger, Alexis cursed them out in public, denounced the Light and left the city on the next ship to Lordaeron.

Once in Lordaeron, she found that she had no money or any valuable skills beyond being a soldier. She enlisted into the army there and served in it until its fall. She ran like a coward rather than stay and face the might of the Scourge and knew she would be deemed as a deserter. Rather than face even more shame, she hide out and ran from any undead that started to stumble her way. Sadly, she didn't make it very long before she was found and struck down.

She awoke clutching her mace and with whispers dominating her mind. Her only saving grace was the fact that she had long become immune to the terrorized screams of others. She served the will of the Lich King up until the battle of Lights Hope and was freed with many of the others she had 'served' with. Rather than feel the need to repent like the others, Alexis simply gathered herself up and left the area. She had no interest in the Ebon Blade nor with doing anything to redeem herself in the eyes of others. She excused her behavior with the fact that her will was not her own and thus she deserved no blame for her actions.

Alexis now continues her work as an interrogator for hire for anyone who has enough coin to sway her opinion. She sees this as not only as a way to earn coin so she can pass though life, but as a way to quell her hunger so that she doesn't get herself thrown out of a city for hunting down others.

Skills and Abilities

Alexis has the average abilities of a death knight, though excels at using them in situations that do not involve battle.

Sticks and stones may break my bones...: Alexis knows how to use most any item as a possible torture device in order to extract information from a subject. She's proficient with most weapons, though favors her mace in order to get the job done. She has a wide range of methods and isn't afraid to break out the more nasty ones right away if time if of the essence.

No one to hear you scream: Due to her state of undeath, Alexis is immune to the screams of her victims where as before she used to have some semblance of humanity.

Iron Maiden: Alexis knows how to build, set up and man most all torture devices. She spends a lot of time at the forge making replacement parts and creating new devices in order to bring out the worst fears in anyone she may 'work' with. She commonly seeks out the fears of others and aims to turn them into something she can possibly use. Her favorite invention thus far is one in which slowly fills the containment compartment with spiders. Lots and lots of spiders.

Mix, Mix, Swirl: Always one to get the job done in any way possible, Alexis likes to bring hideous concoctions into the mix. Her mixtures tend to be less than pleasant, used to invoke nightmares, out of body experiences and illness to anyone who may consume them. None of her potions are meant to directly kill someone, however, as there's no use in a dead snitch.
