Appearance

Catching a sight of Alex would usually allow you to see a deep dark blue petticoat with golden hemlines. It covers her body until her knees, though it's never really buttoned up. Underneath she would wear a white swashbuckler's shirt, a belt and a usual pair of pants. Over all she doesn't seem to care too much about wearing the latest styles, but just wearing something comfortable and easy to fight in.

Alexandrea walks in a confident stride, obviously very self-aware. She has a slender frame though she is quite small, and it seems that she's quick on her feet in whatever she does. She always looks clean even though her job requires her to get down and dirty, almost as if it were a compulsion to look presentable.

Personality

A sarcastic cynic first and foremost with a bit of a loudmouth tendency, Alex fills herself into any group as the person who would be most likely to talk back at the leader but execute the order very well. She would complain the loudest and would probably be the one with the loudest voice of disapproval, but she's still loyal and would do what is asked of her anyway.

She has her own laws and codes she follows and she dislikes being under the jurisdiction of other people. While she respects other peoples' opinions, she tends to have a hard time thinking that their opinion is just theirs, especially since the society and culture of other people tend to look one exact way at others.

While very kept and hidden it doesn't mean that she can't be warm. In fact, she would probably holler people over to sit with her in a tavern. She'd be one of those people who wouldn't be afraid of coming up to someone and telling them how annoying they are, either. She speaks her mind when time calls for it, but she often keeps her opinions to herself when they are unnecessary.

Because she is hidden, she can also be a very convincing liar when need be. But that's not really something she uses very often.

History

Born in Fairbreeze Village as a child, Alexandrea stayed near the border of the Ghostlands and the Eversong Woods. She was always proud and happy, wishing to be free and out to see the world. Her father was a simple teacher at the Sunstrider Isles while her mother was a housewife. She had two older brothers, both of which were married and settled down in Silvermoon. Her life was dedicated to being a farm-raised girl who learned proper education at the side, with the help of her father. They both, in fact, shared a dream: a dream to see the world and all its cultures.

Most of her time was spent wondering about the far off places that her father spoke so earnestly and interestedly about. Part of her wanted to explore the world and see the sights, hear the music, and see for herself the diverseness of the world. She understood that Silvermoon and the Eversong Woods would always be her home. It was the pinnacle of her being as a sin'dorei, a place which she knew was due to the work of her kin.

By the time she was more or less ninety years old, a little more than two decades ago, her father swore an oath to the Alliance as a High Elf and as a Mage. He fought alongside them, while one of her brothers became a paladin. Her eldest brother remained at home as a guardian of the lands. It was here when she was taught how to fight. Due to her small stature she could easily and freely watch her brother from certain vantage points. But what interested her more was how the bandits fought.

They were cunning and ruthless, striking at places and doing various dodges and parries that didn't seem at all like the paladins she chanced upon once in awhile, training with their proper statures and forms. In a way… they were merciless. It horrified and excited her, and without any tutelage, she began a little bit of self-training. Needless to say after a few months she became a little bit less than a beginner, able to wield a pair of daggers without slashing something valuable on her part.

The Scourge's attack on Silvermoon was the most devastating for her. Fairbreeze had almost been decimated by the path of the Scourge straight through Silvermoon. She found herself parrying against a few rotlimb cannibals that spotted her, but she was able to escape. Unfortunately, no one else in her family survived.

Devastated by her loss, she was left alone in the world. It was at this time that she decided to pull herself up from her slump and finally found the courage to begin dreaming once more. Each day of helping Silvermoon pick itself up from its loss brought her closer and closer to following her and her father's dream. She pooled all the money she got and asked the wind rider master to get her to Booty Bay at Stranglethorn Vale.

The long flight through the continent cost all the gold and silvers in her possession. Sadly for her, she didn't think too much ahead after that, and due to her age and inexperience, she was forced to become a barmaid in one of the taverns there.

There, for years she overheard pirates and buccaneers talk about their adventures, their loot and travels. It was also there in Booty Bay where she met the love of her life. He was a pirate, a man of excellent skill and a captain above all things. Independent, worldly, charismatic but also deadly, he was the epitome of what Alexandrea strove to be each day.

And so, even though it was a one-sided love affair, she decided to join his crew. She learned how to fight from them, how to be shrewd and cunning, she learned how to truly become one of them from him.

It was at this time when she felt something wrong… her thirst for mana became stronger and stronger each day. She almost neared insanity as she was locked into one of the cabins in the ship, each day hungering for more mana, unable to do anything. It was during a stopover in one of the port towns where she was met by a fellow blood elf who knew what pain she was going through, and taught her how to siphon the energies of the creatures from the Twisting Nether.

When the Sunwell was finally cleansed, she began to progress back into being her regular self. But, like all of her kin, she had become tainted with the fel energies.

After a full year of adventuring, now she's at Ratchet - trying to make it on her own by finding a vessel to bring her dreams to fruition.
