His fur is all black, usually covered in red warpaint made with dirt, water, and his enemies blood. His mane is long and well managed with a few braids mingled in. Usually totems, bits of bone, and finely crafted trinkets of ivory, wood and stone are braided into it, or tied.

He is missing one horn, the other has intricate carvings along it's length depicting a story of the tauren people. Many miscellaneous trinkets hang about his horns, very similar to his mane.

His ebon fur is thrashed with scars. One X shaped along his right shoulder, and a line around his left bicep. He also has a small line on the outer edge of his left thigh as well as a line that goes straight down the tip of his muzzle. His left eye is missing, a scar lingers down his face to his mouth.

Personality

Aki is a boy becoming a man. His father's death has pushed him to take the mantle as leader, and before he was a brash, headstrong warrior ready to be the only one responsible for his own actions, but with his new position he is forced to think of his people as well as himself, and thus struggles with the burden. He is often put at odds with his youthful fire and the patience needed to guide his tribe with wisdom. As far as he himself goes; he is a strong bull, in body and spirit, he enjoy taking problems head on and quickly rather then slow and cowardly, as he'd call it. In that, he is very unready to express his woes, even to his mother, the Elder Crone of the tribe, doing his best to keep his problems his own and solves them as such. To show weakness is death to Aki, he'd chop of his own hand to save face.

As a friend Aki is a rock to lean on, always ready to listen, and give advice. He feels his duty is to all of his people, managing both thier emotional and physical well being. He is definately small picture, trying to save every starfish that washes on the beach. He is the type to try and put as much weight on his shoulders he can fit to save others the trouble. With a "do what you have to, before you do what you want to" attitude, he's not one for playing around unless the fighting is over, his vision becomes quite narrow and he focus on a target as a good hunter would.

With plenty of encouragement from his father, and a propserous life fighting centaur in the Earth Mother's name, Aki has grown with a sense of anything is possible, and his quest is just, so the ends justify the means. Devoted, strong, narrow, and sometimes a bit brash, Aki is probably a better warrior then he is a leader, but with the new problems facing his people and guidence from his mother, hopefully they will make a Chieftain out of him yet.

History

Growing in the arid Barrens, or the tropical forests of Feralas, the platues of Thousand Needles, and the desert of Tanaris, Aki's tribe didn't localize thier nomadic pattern, they went where the fighting was to be done. In the name of the Earth Mother, each brave in The Blackaxe Tribe was to submit his life to battle, and forsake all things to be second to thier duty of protecting her. Aki's father was Chieftain Blackaxe, he carried the totem of the tribe and lead with wisdom and strength. Never has a memeber of the Blackaxe tribe left, to give up on their duty, even with the conflict up north, all of the braves know where their heart belongs. These are the ideas Aki grew accustomed to. He played amongst the other young bulls of the village, wrestling, competing at archery and seeing who could run to the top of the tallest hill the swiftest. He won, sometimes.

Once he was of age to fight however, his father did not pamper him, like the other males of the tribe he was given a spear and a tomahawk, and told to fight for the Earth Mother, as they did. Soon battle was etched into each young bull as they were forged into Braves of the Blackaxe clan, battle was their bread, and blood was their water. Violence was a key part to the Blackaxe tribe, despite the tauren's history. Aggressiveness was needed to vanguard the lands and preserve the Shu'halo spirit. He fought when he was called, his mentors and brothers taught him to be ruthless, use fear against their enemies and the value of a weapon on your hip. Aki grew to be a fine warrior, with the pleasure of many battle scars, as did the Braves who had survived with him since childhood, the tribesmen became fearfully confident at the prowess of their new leader, with a caution that his aggression might be their doom.

Aki's life changed little since, travel, fight, celebrate victory, honor the Earth Mother, fight some more, change the spot, and repeat, but as of late the centaur had been pushing more ambushes, costly battles that killed many of their warriors, including the Chieftain. Aki now faced with taking his father's mantle, and the increasing centaur threat, communes with his ancestor spirits, the message they bared a shock to him, to travel out and bring those Shu'halo who have nothing left to lose, or those strong enough in will and body to devote their lives to the Earth Mother's service, a blood task that ensures death. With a great humility, Aki has left his tribe for now to draw warriors to him in his quest.
