History

Aiorez' mother was an Arcane mage, and his father a knight, and they were of noble blood. Aiorez always had a feeling that he was meant for something great, something that he would be hated for, but great none the less. Aiorez was sent to a school for magic, and wanted to become a frost mage. As he grew, his frost abilities grew just like they should, but he wanted more, something was missing. As he grew more and more, he became addicted to Arcane, and it is complete rush. He wanted more and more power. He wanted to be able to use magic that was much more powerful. Aiorez stayed at the acadamy for many years, gaining his powers slowly, but something was still missing... And that void would not be filled for some time. Eventually, when Aiorez became sick of the routine of the acadamy, he returned to Silvermoon, with the intent of seeing his parents, perhaps see his sibling, that his parents had told him of in his letters.

But once Aiorez had returned, he discovered that his father had died, and his mother had fled, he thought his whole family was gone, and he was angered, pounding his fist engulfed in flame and shadow against the wall. Upon looking around, trying to figure out the cause of the mysterious deaths, he found a bloody knife on a table. On the knife, was a bloody hand-print, and the knife was at the end of a trail of blood. Aiorez's parents must have been stressed for money, and turned to a morally gray area to get it, and were assassinated.

Suddenly, he heard a faint sound, high in tone, but quiet. He looked around, sensing it came from upstairs. He followed the noise, right until he saw a baby on a bed. He wondered who the baby was, and pulled a small piece of parchment out from his rugged cloak, "M-my sister?" He thought to himself. On further examination, the baby was wearing his old clothing, that he wore when he was little. Aiorez took it upon himself to care for his sister, until she could care for herself.

Revina, as was her name, spent most of her time with the city's priest. Learning from him how to become one herself most of her life. This pleased Aiorez, not because of pride for her, but because this meant she wouldn't be fighting, and he wouldn't have to care for her long. By the time Revina was about 40 years of age, Aiorez abandoned her, leaving a note that he wrote to her.

"I write this letter to you, my sister; for I believe it is time I left. For I am lost, and it has shamed me that I abandoned my purpose. Though I am happy that I was able to raise you, and keep you safe long enough for you to mature, It is time I returned to my path, and found my destiny.

Sincerely, your brother Aiorez."

Aiorez travelled around, trying to find what he could only describe as his "terrible purpose". He went to the edges of the surrounding lands, searching, following his gut instinct wherever it led him, but he found nothing.

He returned to Quel'Thalas, and remained there for a while as a civilian. One morning, he looked over himself, and thought of himself as he was, he had changed, from the moment that small, dreaming child he was, he became colder, he didn't trust anybody, and he was stern with almost everybody, Slight, but it was visible if one knew him.

He left that morning to get some food for that night, and water. As he was getting his reagents he saw the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, he spoke to her, small talk really, and he got her name, and residence. Her name was Terethis. She was the light at the end of his tunnel; she could calm him, and soothe him. He told her of his life, his feeling of a dark future, that ever lingered with him.

They grew to love each other. They got married and had two children, Velandrien and Lortriz. Velandrien was headstrong and true, and loved what was good in the world, perfect to be a paladin. Lortriz was fast and agile, but was an animal person, and a good marksman, she was hunter material. They grew to the age of fourteen, and then the Scourge invaded. His family fought to the best of their abilities, but when Lortiz fell, Aiorez cried out. His anger was so great that he released a hellish flame that decimated all around him. He burned his son, leaving him open to be struck by an undead horror, and his wife was out of range of the blast. Their children were dead, and they had no choice but to flee north. They escaped one half of the city, fighting through the scar in the middle to get to the other side. It was in ruin. They drew their weapons, and fought to the best of their ability. Yet, his wife was overcome by the monsters, and she was murdered in front of him. Suddenly, he turned around, to find a skeletal fiend thrusting a dagger at him; as Aiorez released a blast of ice, decimating the monster. He cried out, and took a moment to regain his composure, he was calmed... And he fled. After the scourge had destroyed the sun-well, He then aided his people in their time of need, helping to reclaim their beloved city. But his purpose remained. His people had taken up new skills. After the battles had ended in full, it sank in, his family, his life, was gone. He fled from his home in a moment of insanity, and saw a large figure in front of him at one point in a wood. Large, green, and cloaked. Aiorez looked upon him, ready to battle if he had to. The Orc calmly, yet with a bit of a stern tone, asked him what he was doing in the middle of nowhere. Aiorez explained his story, and the Orc showed him something, he summoned an imp, glowing in dark green fire.

"And if you could learn this, what would you do with it?" The Orc had asked. Aiorez stared in awe, and exitement at the demon before him. My terrible purpose! he thought to himself, and begged the Orc to train him. He trained until present day, his master has died, and he trains himself, creating new fighting styles, and learning spells from tomes as he finds them. Aiorez now aspires to become powerful, unstoppable, and will do whatever he can to become that. To achieve his terrible purpose.
