Personality

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Aggressive as he may seem, Aghul isn't always grumpy. He is usually okay with people, except if they annoy him or if they are in allegiance with the humans. Because of his imprisonment in internment camps from when he was born, he has always learned to hate humans and the ones who are allied with them. Apart from that, Aghul stands neutral towards people, and he is careful to respect everyone unless provoked. He believes in the strong bond between the shaman and the spirits, and he tries his best to gain the favor of the spirits.

History

Born and grown up in internment camps, Aghul never had the freedom to experience a free childhood. He grew up as a slave to the humans, as one of the corrupted.

“Corrupted you say? I may have lost my freedom, but my will remains my own.”

Those were his words, and Aghul never saw himself as a true slave. When the new horde freed him and his friends from the camp, he fled with them on an expedition that lead them to Durotar, where they found their home.

“My true home, if I ever had any."

Years went by, and Aghul himself couldn't remember much of the imprisonment, except for the fact that humans treated him and his fellow orcs badly. He grew up to become what he thought would lead him to the path of the warrior.

“They called us monsters, but the true monsters are them. They deserve to be purged from this world.”

The path of the warrior would prove to be difficult. Aghul was no gladiator. Although he had the strength, muscles and body to become one, he was too reckless. He often got into fights, and he was too aggressive to keep his head focused on the battle. Then came the third war. Aghul was too young to fight in the army, therefore he stayed home, trying to protect his family. They made it without any problems at all. This, however, would be when Aghul chose his path. A call, barely noticeable, reached Aghul. It was a call from the wind. This was completely new to Aghul, and he was confused. He sought the wisdom from the elders, puzzled about the call.

“I am driven.. Towards the mountain. Something tells me that.. The mountain holds knowledge I need.”

After heeding the words of the elders, Aghul set towards the mountains. On his way, he took his axe. An axe forged by his father, given to him the day he hoped to become a warrior. It was a black axe with a red symbol. It was the family sigil, according to the father. Upon arriving at the mountains, the call became clearer. Aghul went to the top, where he stayed for a few days, listening. As he stayed at the mountain, he had a vision. The vision foretold an orc wielding the power of elements, calling upon a powerful thunderstorm. The orc was wielding an axe similar to the one Aghul had, along with a claw attached to the left hand. He roared with bestial vigor, and it became clear to him what his path would be.

“I may not be a warrior, but the elements of the nature will guide me.”

Enlightened by the vision, Aghul returned back to Orgrimmar to seek the elders once again. His path was clear. He spent his upcoming years meditating in the valley of wisdom, learning from the elders how to honor the spirits of the other world. Aghul, being the reckless and not too bright orc, went through many punishments to become disciplined enough to learn properly. As time passed, he came in contact with the elements, learning how to favor and call upon them when he needed them in battle.

“The wind guides me, the water cleanses my soul. The earth protects me, and fire keeps me strong enough to fight.”

Having been taught the ways of the shaman with the wisdom of the elders, Aghul left Orgrimmar to seek even greater knowledge of the elements.
