Kul Tiras Tabard over leather undergarments when he was in Kul Tiras. He wore simpler travelling garments when he joined the Kul Tiras Special Forces because of moving around most of the time in hostile territory.

Dark-skinned, as with most seasoned sailors of Kul Tiras who has basked under the sun for most of their lives. He also has a thin goatee and good body build, for a sailor.

Personality

A broken man but still manages to remain larger than life, Agares has always been a symbol of stalwartness to those around him, reffering to him as a 'wall undeterred'. As with of the patriotic citizens of Kul Tiras, he despises most of the orcs especially for what they did to Kul Tiras during the Second War. There are two places you would most likely bump into Agares; The sea or the local tavern. He treats the sea as a 'place to sleep', a relaxing place where the sounds of the water communicates with him and there are no words needed, while the local tavern in contrast as a place to enjoy himself along with his mates, especially after voyages. As a part of the crew during his time in the navy, he usually predicted most of the politics or the army movements before his crew members could, but kept it to himself because of his position and status in the navy and he did not want to impose. Most of the time this led him to trouble however, and there were plenty a time when he and his crew mates would be put to the sword one way or another, due to not trusting his own instincts at times. He hates people who defy authorities, especially raiders and pirates. He has been forced to tolerate such people however, as the Kul Tiras Special Forces allow such people into their ranks in exchange for their expertise.

History

The Merchant Nation of Kul Tiras has always been one of the wealthiest nations in Azeroth, and several families flourished for investing wisely in their nation's trade as other nations squabbled over politics. Born Agares Lius of the minor Lius Family in Boralus as an only child, Agares' childhood was spent under the cold grip of chaos, and saw many of his friends' family come and go. As much as his family wanted him to continue family business, he was pretty much roused to patriotism and to the war effort by most of his neighbors. Every corner of the streets of Boralus seemingly chanting the name 'Proudmoore' and his acts of leadership and heroism.

The most important thing he learned however is that every victory had a price. He saw this as each passing month, his friends came to him and told him each about their lost family members. As much as he loves his family and holds them close to his heart, these stories tore him apart and was afraid of losing his family in the same way; as a war casualty. Vowing never to see that day, he and a few of his friends decided to enlist in the navy at age 20. On the day they were assigned to leave for war, his father tried to stop him, begging him to come home and live a peaceful life. Agares smiled at his father, telling his father that he did not want to see his family die in front of him like so many families, and that he joined the navy both to prevent the war from reaching the shores of Boralus, and to live his life to the fullest on the battlefield, to fight and die on his father and mother's arms instead of the other way around.

To serve in Admiral Proudmoore's fleet was one of his childhood dreams, and he was given the opportunity to do so when the Admiral set sail for Kalimdor. It was not as he had hoped for however. Right off the bat, the new recruit was plunged into the world of war, serving and keeping hostiles out of Tiragarde Keep. As much as he hated doing guard duty and engaging skirmishes against the locals, he was on par with the veterans of the castle. Finally, he saw how his countrymen especially his hero, Admiral Daelin slew helpless and unarmed orcs, in contrast to the honorable fighting of the orcs. He spent the rest of his years mainly in Tiragarde, until he was finally called upon by his motherland once again, this time to investigate the Defias Brotherhood in Stormwind as an agent of the newly formed Kul Tiras Special Forces, who travel in and around Azeroth to help in the war effort in the name of Kul Tiras and the Alliance.
