Appearance

Aemar is a big sucker for fashion. Most of his robes are royal and mage-y looking. You will never see him running around in a loincloth or some old drapes. He usually chooses purple garments, but one could find a whole pile of differently coloured clothes inside his wardrobe.

Other: There is a huge burn mark on Aemar's chest, two medium-sized ones on his back and a tiny one on his right hand. They are old wounds from his battles that refuse to heal.

Aemar obviously smiles too much.

Personality

Aemar is one of those kind people who like to do nice things and help others. Yes, he is a bit arrogant, just like many magic users, but he is trying to hide this trait. Yet it's still visible in his behaviour. Aemar doesn't really care about races much. He likes the fact that Dalaran keeps its neutrality to anybody - that makes Aemar admire the great wizard community even more!

Aemar is the ‘wise & old' type. Sometimes it might seem as if he would be viewing young people as something a little bit inferior. Judging from the way he acts, that is. He is always willing to teach younger mages the stuff he knows. He feels that it is ‘their duty to pass down their knowledge to the young generation'.

History

Aemar was born in Stormwind. Both of his parents were mages who moved to the southern kingdom after they finished their studies in Dalaran. Aemar was their firstborn and eldest child. During the years his birth was followed by four more.

Aemar was fascinated by magic since he was a child. He used to ask his parents to show him various tricks, flashy spells and incantations. When he was of age, his mother suggested that he should be taken to Dalaran to begin his training. His father agreed and it was done. Aemar was very eager to start. He had dreamt of becoming a wizard for quite some time then.

It was better than he imagined it would be. Magic everywhere! Aemar felt that he belonged there. He felt that Dalaran was his true home, not Stormwind. Everything he loved, everything he admired... All in one place!

Aemar was taught by one of the elder wizards. He wasn't brilliant at everything. However, the schools he was good at were Transmutation, Illusion and Abjuration. These were his favorite subjects, too. Divination was the hardest kind of magic for him. Aemar quickly learned to frown upon the Fel and hate Necromancy.

When he finished his basic studies, Aemar returned to Stormwind to visit his parents. However, the trip didn't last long. After spending a week in the Human city Aemar returned to Dalaran, back to his master. He returned to ask for advanced training.

Aemar studied hard. He liked to study. He craved for knowledge; he craved for new things, for new spells, for new magic. His master was somewhat pleased with him. Aemar was progressing gradually and eventually he finished his studies. Sometime during his years with the mages his parents died and Aemar had to do a little break to go back to Stormwind and bury them. This loss was devastating for him. He was left as the head of the family, all alone.

Aemar didn't leave immediately after finishing his ‘official' studies. He stayed in Dalaran for a year, waiting for his brothers - who also chose the path of the Arcane, like everybody else in his family- to finish their studies, spending his days in libraries, researching all kinds of magic by himself.

After finishing their studies the brothers parted ways. Aemar returned to Stormwind and lived there for a while before disappearing mysteriously.
