Appearance

Aaron is an enormous powerhouse by human standard, his hair black and his optics a bright emerald color. His face is of narrow counter with an average amount of flesh, a prominent strong jaw, high cheek bones, a nose with blatant traces of being straight and pristine in the past but now broken and finally an upper half, forehead and surroundings, broader than the rest. He is surprisingly scarless.

His armor abides knightly but crimson, heavily plated with absolutely no breaches to let even a small dagger pierce through, with no elegant adornments whatsoever and a chain mail, full body, to fit under it and prevent irritation to the skin. His heaume to go with the steel protections is as disheartening, if more redoubtable than the rest. The great helm is a flat top to the skull with metal wings on the temples and ventilating decorations on the visor as infinitesimal holes. The peek cavities are reinforced with glass small and forged not to shatter under a shock, but their amber blush is daunting to the warrior’s opposition. In addition, a metal gorget under the pauldrons is there to protect the neck.

Personality

A very punitive and facilely tickled fighter, the horseman is known to scarcely ever forgive insults to himself or his adoptive family. He rarely bequests his trust and confidence to other folks but himself due to a hard past of betrayals, especially to his previous and most important liege, Admiral Proudmoore deceived by his very own daughter. He has a minor case of paranoia which seldom permits him to be at ease, even in his own room.

The Tirasian publicly is a harsh, jagged person but he is sworn to his vows of chivalry and a loyal, lawful man that uncommonly lies to anyone if for their own good, or senior profit for himself. Far from a religious man to the Light, his belief is Neptulon, the Elemental Lord of the sea, which he considers a true deity that has proven a closer egalitarian to mortals than other divinities, which could be unconsidered untrue, but attempting to reason with him on such matter would be like chatting with a rock, and the rock would listen better than him.

Finally, his relation with the Alliance is one of respect and servitude, but he was also recognized as being able of neutrality on occasions that demand it. His regards to the Horde are of a true warrior. He honors them and yet loathes them. He believes they are a civilization like any other, organized, smart, and resourceful, but the effects of the war cannot permit him to be merciful towards their races and his pity remains null. Citizens or fighters almost inconceivably receive clemency.

History

Childhood and Adolescence

Aaron was born from a high class citizen and a seamstress of Boralus. His father didn’t stay longer than a few days and left months before his birth, and his mother wasn’t able to contact him in other ways than letters. He was born with the aid of an unqualified doctor which couldn’t save his female progenitor, and because of that was given to a friend of his forebearer. A fat woman in her sixties who had lost her children and husband because of an accident, but had the coins to afford one because she was a bakester, and the only of the populous street.

He grew to the age of five with little to do but play with other alley kids and stay with his adoptive mother, Maria. But the day he reached the age of six, a man with two soldiers dressed in the attire of the Kul Tiras military arrived and seized the boy. They took him without Maria's consent, but left a large sum of gold.

The aristocratic man turned out to be a knight of the kingdom living in a village known as Surfsight, where he had built a tower to live, alone with his wife. Time and again had he tried to get a child with his lover, and even other women, but he was suffering male infertility and nothing could help him. He was also completely against letting his sweetheart use another man - and they were happy together, too. He was hesitating on what to do when his friend, the father of the boy, promised him a son after a period of time. That period of time had passed and he had been instructed on how to recover his new infant which was already grown, but that was fine for himself and his companion. Both adored the kid like their own and he was rapidly trained to take up his father’s mantle as knight.

For his physique, he trained half the day with his adoptive father, Henry. He was also taught fencing, riding, and the codes and knowledge of chivalry. His theoretical education was overseen by his third feminine parent, Lucia (a minor noblewoman) and the professors she paid. He was taught about the Light, although he was no paladin or a very religious person and neither were his parents. They lived a happy life together for fifteen years.

Prime Age, Admiral Proudmoore and Management

Aaron was now at the age of twenty one. He had grown robust and tall, his manners and erudition was great, his visage was mature, coarser than a wellborn, his smile was that of a sly rogue and his family’s stature had made him popular amongst the ladies, at court or otherwise. He lived many adventures, more now than before. He was eager to take part in combats of brawl and sword, but couldn’t partake in jousting yet as a squire.

After having headed to the castle of Boralus with Henry to discuss a convocation by a highborn, he contemplated the man known as Admiral Proudmoore himself. He saw him in a corridor conversing with lords, and he admired the man since then. He was truly the true definition of being a king and a worthy adversary to anybody, individually or via stratagem. His voice was proud and powerful.

The next month, his father decided to examination him in the regulation of the village of Surfsight. The community was composed of about two hundred villagers. He was prized by the serfs for his amiable nature and the moderate taxes. It was unusual compared to those of other fiefs. Sir Surfsight appreciated the services of his disciple.

Knighthood, Dying, and Kalimdor

During his last night as a squire, as deemed by his father, he was prepared for the Night Vigil with a ritual bathing. The body needed to be thoroughly cleansed as a symbol of purification. He then wore a white vesture to symbolize his purity, and the fabric was covered by a red robe which symbolized nobility. His shoes and hose were black which symbolized death.

He then entered the chapel, a sword and shield was placed upon the altar. He knelt before it for ten hours with not a word spoken, in silent prayer. He was not religious, but this ritual was capital, and as explained by Henry, it was to make peace with himself and test his patience. A cleric remained there to make sure he didn’t lie of his meditation. He remained there the entire night.

In the morning, he was joined by others to attend the mass and a lengthy sermon on the duties of a knight. A sponsor took possession of the blade and bulwark once it was blessed by the same cleric who had sat with him previous night, and it was given to Admiral Proudmoore. He presented himself to the king and the two sponsors in a public ceremony and then proceeded to take his vows and swore an oath of allegiance to the kingdom’s ruler.

Afterwards came the dubbing then, the king presented the sword and shield and dubbed the squire with a gentle heaving of the sword over the kneeling squire’s shoulders. “I dub thee, Sir Knight.” was said, the flat of the weapon then ascended to tap on the head of the warrior. The sponsors then continued by then putting the spurs on Aaron and his ceremonial sword was girded on. He claimed the title of ‘Sir’ at the end of the ritual.

His parents died shortly after, his father first of illness and his mother a month later from sorrow and age both. The fief of Surfsight was passed on to him and he became the rightful leader of the village for a small period of time.

That was until Admiral Proudmoore called for an expedition to be sent to Kalimdor to find his daughter who had apparently fled from Lordaeron and established a colony in another continent. He was one of the many knights to be sent with their king to protect him and fight whatever would dare face them. He named the elder and his son to be in charge of the fief with the garrison commander, as the fief required a group of thirty men to protect it from incursions such as murlocs and outlaws.

War and Betrayal

Aaron Surfsight didn’t exactly understand what happened at that time, he was confused by so many things that were presenting themselves to him and the army. First off, they met the greenskins, the orcs, which he fought and killed, and then there was blue humanoids with tusks, and beasts with horns on their foreheads. That was without counting all the strange animals. He led his own group of soldiers about composed of twenty men with a mage and a priest and he returned to Theramore with twelve. Half had been decimated by an aggressive counterattack which had happened after they struck a hostile outpost. He recovered his troops and got new volunteers, prior to launching himself again on the enemy. This continued for a few weeks, until the orcish army assaulted their city in Kalimdor. He also met his true blood brother at that period, but declined his unscrupulous offer.

He felt bewildered when Jaina Proudmoore aided the Horde in taking Theramore and killing her father. A feeling of weakness and anger was also there; he hadn’t been able to protect his liege and king. He had to give his surrender to save his men and himself and joined the forces of a woman he despised.

Deserter and Alliance

Aaron juggled between Theramore and Surfsight to take care of his village, while remaining to ‘help’ the city. In truth, he was a supporter of the Theramore deserters which tried to induce discontent amongst the population and get them to fight the Horde rather than just staying there and waiting patiently for them to attack them. Soon the plot was uncovered, and the deserters were caught, but he was lucky to escape. He stopped in Surfsight for a few months before setting sail to Stormwind and presenting himself to his brother, accepting his previous proposition and becoming his friend, his henchman, and his advisor in their legal business, or so appeared. His sibling was in truth running small forbidden operations under the radars of the Alliance, but they were nothing really worth noting except that they protected warlocks. Aaron, due to a loyalty to the blood link connecting the two together, merely running a few fights now and then. Beyond that, this was merely a job to do and remain stable until he had the event to progress a party of his own and hunger for honor, riches and the immortalization of his name.

Present and Surfsight Chevaliers

Aaron continued to serve until his kinsperson and leader decided to disband their little group. Sir Surfsight didn’t hesitate to immediately to seize the opportunity to create his own band of men, and although his village’s garrison was weak and had to remain in Kul Tiras there were plenty of volunteers and recruits to employ; men who sought fortune, fame and honor by serving the Alliance, much like himself. They were taken in regardless of their former stature and affiliations, as long as they could contribute to the Chevaliers.

Even today, the man juggles between his town and his men, making sure that all is well.

Skills and Abilities

  • Stupendous Might: Aaron Surfsight has been training substantially his entire life and that, in addition to an already robust body, has made him advantageously stronger than the average human.
  • Swordmastery: The knight has been practicing swordsmanship ever since he was a squire, more specifically with a bastard sword forged to - and techniques adapted to - his size.
  • Stance Champion: Depending on the situation he's in, Aaron has been known to be very adaptable. This includes, but is not limited to, the sword and shield, zweihander, spear and even the dagger.
  • Expert Rider: The mounting of a horse is an essential part of the training of a gentlemen warrior of Kul Tiras and of the Alliance, especially when on the battlefield. It would be difficult feat to break one of his charges without an appropriate focus and weapon, or to get him off the saddle unwillingly.
  • Brawling: His life has taught him a valueable lesson; being unable to clash without armament can be baneful, which is why he has qualified himself in being a capable unarmed combatant.
  • Ambidextrous: A rare talent and his only real, natural skill inherited from the family, Aaron is capable to use both hands equally well, but with a preference for the right.]
