Personality

Often found to be impatient, Willas can tend to be jumpy from time to time. He is quick on his feet, and his body build suggests that. He is often fiddling with a golden coin, of an unknown origin. This fiddling ranges from flipping it into the air over and over, just tossing it and catching it, rolling it across his knuckles, or spinning it on a table when one is around. He often is around during the late night, early morning, pointing to the possibility that he may enjoy the night over the day. He also enjoys his profession he took up, purely for entertainment, which happens to be Engineering. It is obvious if one were to see him work at this profession, that he mainly enjoys it for the explosives.

History

Son of a local tailor and soldier of Lordaeron, Willas never knew his father. When he was only a week old, his father had been called off to the fight of the First War. His father never returned, and though his mother knew the fate of her beloved husband, she refused to tell her only child at such an early age.

And so he was raised, clueless of whether he even had a father or not. As he went through his early years, he was oblivious to the wars that raged among Azeroth. During the Second War, at the age of 10, his mother began to have a hard time keeping up with taking care of her child, working, and earning enough money to afford the life they had. It was during this time that Willas decided to do what he thought was best for his mother, and he ran away.

Overnight, he left a note to his mother next to his bed, snuck out of their small house, and took a small boat, escaping to Stormwind. During his time in Stormwind, he stayed in the alleys of Old Town, being a poverse, and sad looking child. He hid from the authorities, for fear of seeing his father, or being taken to an Orphanage where his mother might find him.

While he taught himself to be a subtle sort of character, he only stole when he needed the food or money. He never stole clothes, for every once in a while, a passerby would take pity on him, and give him some old clothes, and he accepted them, whether they be torn, burnt, or missing large patches.

When he was of the age of sixteen or fifteen, he noticed a younger boy, searching for something in a frantic hurry. When he asked what the child was looking for, he was told that the boy was looking for a pocket watch that was a gift from his father, and that he probably dropped it. It wasn't long after he given a description that Willas noticed a stranger carrying said watch, and Willas stalked the stranger, unnoticed by the man.

It was that night that Willas stole back the watch, keeping it safely hidden from everyone, until the next morning. When he returned the watch to the child, the child thanked him, and urged Willas to meet his parents. Willas willingly agreed, as he follows the child through Stormwind, until they stopped at a small residence in the Mage Quarter, where the father thanked him, giving him a small amount of money for his troubles.

This was when Willas formed the idea of stealing for those that have been stolen from. He began to do this over and over, being rewarded enough to get warmer clothes, better food, and, eventually. At about the age of Twenty, he was able to afford a small, rented room in Goldshire, at the Lion's Pride Inn.

It wasn't until five years later when he heard news of the scourge. Though he worried for his mother's sake, and his curiosity was really getting to him, he remained hidden in Goldshire and Stormwind, evading the military even more. Though he worried a lot, he didn't leave Elwynn until he was about thirty years old, keeping hidden in what used to be Lordaeron. Overall, he was shocked of what had happend. After hearing of his mother's own death to the scourge, he left. When he returned to Elwynn, he mourned her death, stopped helping himself and others. He kept this up for almost eight years, until he was finally over his only relative's death, and began his helpful deeds once again.
