Appearance

He usually has a magical wooden staff, given to him by his former master, that has a red orb on the top, besides that, he has his black and blue robe, tattered gloves and normal black boots.

Personality

Waric is a generally nice guy, he does his best to help others in any way, shape or form. Due to his blindness he shows no racism of any sort. The only way he knows the race of them is through his Succubus. Though, even then, he still cares little for race.

His 'motto' is: "I may be a warlock, but I am not evil.". This sets the standard for his personality. If he learns a person is in trouble, he will try his best to help them.

Waric thinks that his Succubus is rather nice, she is very sweet to him. She often helps him change, or helps him get his bed ready for sleeping. Waric treats her like family due to their closeness and the fact she has fallen in love with her master.

History

Waric was born blind. As a child, he was teased quite a lot because of his disability. When he would come home crying, his mother would hold him in her arms, she would sing a song to him as a lullaby to make him fall asleep.

Other than a few upsets, his childhood was very normal. His parents were nice, especially his mother. His dad was a logger, and his mother remained at home to tend to her son's needs.

When he was old enough to, he left his family and traveled to Stormwind to learn to become a mage. Though, since he couldn't see, he had to have a guard escort him. Waric always had an interest in magic, which is why he went to mage school.

One day during his studies, Waric was testing out a few spells he had learned in the tavern. He used one of the spells, what was mistaken for an Immolate, to set fire to his food, an accident.. A woman noticed his apparent use of a warlock spell and came to his table and whispered to him, "Why aren't you in the cellar and practicing? Come, let's go.".

The woman took his hand and led him down into a cellar. In reality however, it wasn't a cellar, but more of a training grounds for warlocks. Waric met a man who would later become his 'master' in the learning of the art of magic.

Under the wing of his 'master', Waric spent many years learning, memorizing and mastering the different spells of a warlock. Due to the fact he had to memorize by touch the different summoning circles, it took him a much longer time to be able to cast them than normal people.

After his training was over, Waric simply became a normal man, however one night, he decided to summon a succubus.

After months of having a man read the proper execution of summoning a succubus and weeks of learning how to commence the drawing of the summoning circle, he finally got down to business.. In the deeper regions inside the catacombs under the tavern, he began to draw the circle.. He spent hours making every detail perfect, every detail the same as what he memorized.

Once the preparations were complete.. He began the process of summoning his succubus.. After he summoned her from the Twisting Nether, he killed her on the spot, sending her weakened soul back.. After that, he re-summoned her, and bound her spirit to his.

Since she was able to become invisible, she would often tag along with Waric, whispering in his ear what the world looked like, often making Waric smile as if he could see.

Years later, his succubus loves him, but he has set up special boundaries between them. The boundaries have built up quite a lot of tension between him and his succubus.

Waric has made a solemn pledge, to use his magic sparingly, and to only use them to help people.. Because of that, he mostly just uses mostly unnoticeable spells, or spells that he can play off and say he didn't cast.
