Appearance

Vrahn usually wears darker clothes; he is a rogue after all and thus has to make sure he can blend in to the shadows fairly well. He carries a pair of daggers that he considers good luck charms, they are family heirlooms and he considers them valuable beyond all else.

Personality

Vrahn is a smart fellow, and has proven that throughout his life. He seldom jumps into something without thinking it out first. In spite of that he also loves a good drink, and while he doesn't get drunk very often it can occasionally impair his judgment.

Due to his past Vrahn will never tolerate any undead (death knights included), orc, or demon of any faction, and he is almost always completely hostile to warlocks.

He enjoys a good story and is considered a good listener by those around him, and while he is a good person at heart he has a tendency to act as his feelings dictate, and despite thinking things through he generally disregards the law in favour of his personal law, which can lead to a bit of roguish troubles. He also believes very strongly in learning about the world around you and as such is a very avid explorer.

History

Vrahn was born to an average Stormwind family and was raised with them from birth. He had access to good education as well as weapons training, good storytellers, and secret stashes of ale. At the age of fourteen he chose to follow the path of his father and enlisted in the Stormwind Military. He wasn't a particularly strong man, but what he lacked in strength he made up with his speed and finesse, as well as intelligence. So he was directed into reconnaissance where he learned the skills of a rogue.

Vrahn eventually earned his way to corporal within the ranks of the Military and was a part of small bands of rogues lead on sabotage and assassination missions for the military during the invasion of Gul'Dan and his orc horde (The Second War). During the fall of Stormwind he was gifted his father's set of daggers during the hasty retreat to the docks. He was fortunate enough to escape death in the city along with the remnants of the Stormwind Military and from there travelled with them to Lordaeron.

After the first horde was defeated Vrahn remained with the Military and helped working towards cleaning up the mess the war created and helping with the construction of the internment camps until the horde of Ner'zhul flooded into Azeroth and surprised the defenders, quickly gathering powerful artifacts before departing into the realm of Draenor once again. Soon after a force was formed to take the fight to the horde on Draenor in an attempt to prevent further conflict on Azeroth. Vrahn was a part of the expedition that travelled through the gate and went to war with the new horde.

The fighting was bitter and relentless on Draenor until Ner'zhul and his shamans succeeded in opening gates to various other worlds ripe for the taking. Unfortunately they did not realize that the energies they released would be strong enough to begin to destroy Draenor. During this time Turalyon and Khadgar agreed to make the ultimate sacrifice by destroying the Dark Portal from their side to prevent the horde from attacking Azeroth again. This meant that they would be trapped in Draenor and thus, so would Vrahn and the rest of the expedition.

Twenty years later a portal was reopened to Draenor, now called the Outlands, and it was found that the expedition, now renamed the Sons of Lothar were in fact still alive. Vrahn along with many of the expedition members had survived and settled in parts of Outland, Vrahn had chosen the city of Shattrath. Soon after he returned to Azeroth through the new portal and was forced to learn of the events that had occurred during the many years he was away. He chose to settle once again in new Stormwind, although he has chosen not to rejoin the Stormwind Military. During his time in Stormwind he has read up as much as he possibly can through his love of books about the history of Azeroth since he had been gone, and upon learning of the new threat of the Lich King he is eager to join in the war against the Scourge and once again take on Ner'zhul's horde, although he has much to learn as the ‘horde' has clearly changed.
