Personality

Virela has a relatively complicated personality. In her 'work uniform', She is cold, calculating and uninfluenced. Her behaviour is the same as an assassin (or 'dirty worker' as she calls it), and leaves her emotional and verbal input out of most, if not all situations she's involved in. She has a desperate need to conceal her true personality to others, which is a result of her training in 'dirty work', outside of her job. However, she also has the need to show her face and even more so her eyes to those she kills, unless she is in possible compromise of her identity. If she doesn't do this, she leaves the scene guilty and remorseful. When out of work, she attempts to be a generally tough but fair woman, with a bitterly humorous but soft-to-those-she-loves attitude. She only gets emotionally deep with those she grows close to and her family.

History

Virela was born to father, Aralen Amanu'phore, and mother, Kirea Sin'belore, at a surprisingly old age for the two parents, Kirea at age two-hundred eighty, and Aralen following closely at two seventy-five. She was preceeded by two brothers however, Kiera and Aralan. They were both named similarly to their parents, evidently, as the Amanu'phore held this new tradition for only several generations before. They were seven and twenty-five and Virela was named after her great grandmother, who died only but one sickly, sad year earlier.

The family lived and always had lived in Tranquillien of Darkened Woods, which would eventually become 'Ghostlands' some 120 odd years later. At which point, The family moved to Silvermoon.

During her childhood, between the ages of two and nine, she spent her time like any other - developing her fundamentals skills as a child, with a healthy social and family life, aside from her unhealthy yet love-and-hate relationship with the middle child of her family, Kiera. Until the age of thirteen, she did not bare much interest in a specific trade, such as magic or swordsmanship. When a display of arcane magic that showed the mixture of illusions, enchanted items and the sword during Winter's Veil events captured Virela's attention, she stuck with the concept of combined arcane and melee training. However, when she learned a couple of years later from general higher educations, no such training commonly existed to those living at such a young age, and just within the confines of Tranquillien.

At the age of seventeen, Aralan began teaching her what he was taught within the ranks of the Farstriders, being there for only a year and a half. At eighteen, She was sent into spiralling disappointment when, despite the fact her older brother, at age 43, already a farstrider of three years, never explained to her that the Farstriders would not accept anyone as inexperienced and young as her. After a short period of sadness, she had gotten back to her feet over the issue, and with her brother, Kiera, took the hobby of hunting and eradicating the mild furbolg and gnoll threat throughout Blackened Wood. It was personal training, which was unmentored aside from the occasional aid from their father, an ex-farstrider, and their older brother, who would teach the two what he learned in amateurity.

Living off the wealth of their parents, Kiera and Virela continued to work together in hunting and foraging, under the pressure of jobs throughout Quel'thalas to eradicate pests and burdens, as well as courier minor packages through their own miniature 'company'. Aralan had moved away not four years after his introduction into the Farstriders to "better serve my land". Virela once again began her study into arcane arts, but with no serious intentions. Simply books tided her curiosity right up to the ripe young age of thirty-seven, where Virela was determined to make something of herself and leave home, and her brother, to try and join the Farstriders, even with the burden of being easily four years too young to be seriously considered.

With a moderately talented streak (compared to initiates) and a good history of both her brother and father being Farstriders themselves, she was accepted into the ranks and began her training as one. She too moved north, into Eversong, the heart of Quel'thalas, to better serve them. For a long future, her life was eventual with Amani hunts and protection of her homeland. Right until the siege.

Virela was posted atop the main gates leading into the centre of Silvermoon and directly to the Sunwell. Amongst many others in her station of farstriders, She was tasked to rain arrows down on the oncoming seige. Her father, insisting on taking place right before the gate, was killed. Virela blames herself for his passing, when as her father was struggling against the onslaught of a geist. Her arrows turned to his attention, and her normal arrow shots lacked a very small two feet of range to hit the geist. She empowered herself an arcane shot, which would sustain the small range difference. However the spell fizzled due to a mixture of nerves, stress, adrenaline and her lack of expertise. Her father was brutally killed by the geist after a few more moments of struggle and missing arrows, to Virela's horror.

Soon, the gates and part of the Silvermoon walls came down with Virela atop them. A majority of them evacuated the top on it's inevitable fall and destruction, however as Virela made her way to the edges of the gateside, the gate and its adjoining stone collapsed, taking her with them - with many people watching the fall of the large group of Farstriders with the rubble, to death, presumably. Virela was knocked unconscious and buried beneath rubble to the walls. She was close to escaping the rubble, when the sea of scourge parted the rubble and destroyed gates, causing the girl to be covered by rubble, metal and wood alike - Thankfully, she only sustained minor injuries as she was pocketed in a nook between a large peice of flat golden shrapnel from the gate and the intact wall. She was rescued and evacuated from the close vicinity in only two days at the first given opportunity, being one in the rather large group of survivors saved in the rubble. When she was recovered, she found only her, her mother and eldest brother remained alive.

At the result of the seige, She was left in mourning of her father, blaming herself for her fathers death. She saw this as a wake up call to engage in her previous wish for enlightenment in arcane and mild interest in close combat was sought after. During her studies, she had found that the specific details she looked for in training were found in two titles - The spymaster, which was found seemingly on Orgrimmar, and the assassin. She had barely been able to deal with her fathers passing and the devastation of the sunwell. As a result, she was fasting for quite a while, and depriving herself of all vital needs - Sleep, food and even bodily functions for a short period of time. It had not helped either as the source of arcane was cut, which intensified her mourning process and left her in a husk-like composure in which she simply huddled at home in foetal episodes.

When the solution came to Fel energy, she acted as many others and was utterly disgusted by the concept. Though, having dealt with the brutal headaches, muscle aches and sleeplessness, she was shameful yet eager to indulge in the quick fix solution. She came to eventually pride herself on the new Sin'dorei title, as living amongst farstriders convinced her that the new step into fel was an ultimately good result, despite their loss of the alliance.

Orgrimmar too unreasonable, by distance and by alliance, so the only viable option was to pursue the only other alternative in Quel'Thalas. The assassin, though she was uneasy and spiteful of the name, intrigued her, and the lack of knowledge on them otherwise motivated her to find more. Going the only place she knew she could start, she travelled to Murder Row to try and encounter any ranks of assassin, or even rogues or shady dealers that could aid her in her search, or perhaps train her. It was here she knew that many noble families and politicians did dirty business. It was easily and obviously rumored that assassins existed within Silvermoon to fulfill the contracts and desires of many of societies tops and were used as hands to deal away with rivals and opponents in nobility.

After obviously fruitless attempts, Virela was left alone and unanswered - Only getting odd and disgusted looks. She returned home, resigned after two days of searches. She was confronted in her home by those she attempted to find, and was threatened because of her knowledge. She begged to a pathetic level for their group to teach her, offering money and valuables. It was denied, but this only lead her to go on further searches. After being disruptive to the Murder Row community, she was almost assassinated, but her largest offer yet, of a huge sum of gold taken from her family bank of deceased relatives, had the assassins talking. She was spared life momentarily and re-approached many days later with approval.

After seven years of juggling her night life with her day, she remained a farstrider, after requesting she'd stay a minor, less responsible member of the Farstriders, so she could spend more of her time for "my mother and incapacitated brother", when instead, she'd be an inexperienced member for the group of assassins. She was tasked as being the face for minor tasks given to the group, and even 'dirty work', such as anonymous courier services, eavesdropping, item and information gathering, beat ups, threats and assassinations of very little importance.
