Varundar enjoys adrenaline more than most, which is why he took the "job" of trying to fight criminality. He'd actually become a thief if it wasn't for the harsh laws, just for the thrill. And of course, the morality that he actually feels.

History

Varundar Mithrodas was born in Stormwind City, to a shopkeeper named Harimos Mithrodas, and his wife and assistant, Jolynda. However, he would not come to live under Stormwind as an infant. The family was fleeing to Lordaeron, due to the threat of the Horde.

Time after, the family would move into the rebuilding Stormwind. They found the old shop in ruin, but they eagerly helped rebuilding it. Soon they would have a regular life established once more. Varundar helped in the shop against a small payment from Harimos, until he was a young man.

He decided that he wanted to seek out adventure. He left the shop, taking various jobs during short time. He'd soon settle with one job: private investigator.

Years later, after running the investigator business with medium success, he was offered a deal by an anti-criminality factor named the Lion's League. He'd act as eyes throughout the streets of Stormwind; keeping a heads-up for any illegal business. He took it, being promised a monthly payment, better than what he'd earn as an investigator. A certain payment, aswell.

He's now been working like this until this very day. He considers the job very good for him; fulfilling his urge to feel the kick of adrenaline.
