Val'Mig is a traditionalist troll, believing in the old traditions. He usually takes a while to make a decision, thinking it through, tending not to rush into anything, unless pushed to do so. Although, anyone trying to stop him from following the old traditions will usually be confronted and attacked. Since Val'Mig follows the old traditions, it gives him a very poor opinion of women, believing them to be mere property. Val'Mig wont think twice about beating a female which is out of line. But above all else Val'Mig believes appeasing the Loa is the top priority.

History: Val'Mig was born on the darkspear islands in a small village, to his father a warrior by the name of Tol'Zan, a priest of the Loa and his mother Sal'lao, simple property of Tol'Zan. Tol'Zan was disappointed with Val'Mig when he grew into a warrior and not a priest like himself, but was pleased with his enthusiasm when learning about the Loa. As Val'Mig grew, he continued to train his skills, becoming a mighty warrior.

Before Val'Mig new it, the murlocs began to attack. Val'Mig joined a lot of the patrols, seeing it as a chance to hone his combat abilities. As time went on the war grew long, and Val'Mig worried for the fate of his village. Until the fortunate arrival of Thrall and his Orc kin. Val'Mig respected the orcs for saving his village until they started to change his kin. He thought his kin had become the orcs pets, lapdogs. The old traditions were being taken away, and stopped.

As more and more of his traditions were beings stopped Val'Mig lost all respect for the Horde, and when the third war came Val'Mig refused to fight for them. He exiled himself and left the horde, in hope he could appease the Loa without being stopped by the orcs. After this experience Val'Mig despised the orcs, for changing his kin.

After he left the horde, Val'Mig wandered, learning of new species and civilizations. Val'Mig grew hatred for most of them, as they despised how he followed the old traditions. Val'Mig wandered until he met a troll by the name of Jal'Harj, also a traditionalist. Val'Mig quickly befriended Jal'Harj, and stayed at his hut in Stranglethorn Vale. Jal'Harj was a old warrior who lived with his many belongings, including 3 women, his mate and two daughters. Jal'Harj taught Val'Mig to fish and hunt over the course of five years.

The five years passed quickly and Val'Mig was happy with his new home. It all lasted until Val'Mig was out tracking a pack of humans, a small group of bandits. Val'Mig had been tracking them for quite a while. He had been following some tracks until he saw fire in the distance, it was his old hut. Val'Mig ran back as fast as he could, feared for the safety of Jal'Harj.

When Val'Mig got to the burning hut, where he found Jal'Harj alive, surrounded by scattered body's of dead bandits and both of Jal'Harj's daughters. Jal'Harj had slain the bandits but lost both of his daughters in the process. Val'Mig left early the next day, the experience had changed him.

Val'Mig wandered for the next two years, trying to find a new home.
