Personality

Alignment: Neutral Good

A passionate and kind gnome, Twizzalyn has an obsession for engineering. She has a traumatized experience from gnomeregan, but despite her hatred for Troggs, she is kind towards everyone she meets, no matter who. She is a bright soul with lots of ideas, and she always tries her best to come up with inventions. When meeting others, she might also appear as very shy at first, but if she feels comfortable enough, she would appear to be extremely energetic. She is, however, kind of fragile. Because of this, she feels comfortable when wearing sturdy leather armor combined with small inventions that might help in the field.

History

Twizzalyn was born into a happy family of gnomish engineers and technicians, like most. She picked up the trade early on, working and tinkering on smaller things to make them spin and rotate, a hobby she soon realized were her ultimate passion. She grew up to hold an unending love for the trade, and made many inventions solely because of that love. Her early years were filled with happy thoughts of a day that she would become a full-engineer.

The day the Trogg's invaded the city, was one of great sorrow. She saw fellow gnomes falling to the creatures at all side, gnomes trying to escape through the ventilation systems, through the sewer systems, and even the front gate itself. She was able to make it close to the entrance with many of her fellow engineer's, but they were not fighters. Half of the group had fallen on the way.

She was an unfortunate one who saw battle. A trogg rushed at her with some form of bladed weapon, it looked akin to a sword, but it was jagged and dirty. She was able to block at least two attempts to skewer her, and even returned with her wrench to its head. But it gained the upper hand as she lost her balance when trying to dodge, and the Trogg cut most of her arm off. A few gnomes were able to jump the Trogg and take it down. She was slowly slipping from conciousness from bloodloss.

Upon awakening, she found herself in Ironforge. It wasn't known who had saved her, but someone had been able to slow the flowing of blood and get her to Ironforge safely, where she rested for many months. She had lost most of her arm, leaving only a stump from her shoulder that was bandaged. This was something she had feared ever since one of her inventions had exploded. It was like the world was falling down around her, she truly believed she would never be able to engineer again, one of the hobbies that got her through the day with a smile. She wouldn't give up though. She couldn't give up, and with the help of others, she was able to go back to work. A small, mechanical arm that was just about the same size as her original arm was her answer. It functioned, with small periods of breakdowns either from a power shortage or overheating.

Her first few days were filled with miserable attempts at tinkering. The arm was far from perfect. Sometimes, she found herself at a loss of power. The arm could not handle anything heavy, and building inventions that required strength was something she found very hard at times. Building tiny stuff was also a thing she struggled a lot with, since the arm didn't have the nimbleness required and sometimes moved in the complete wrong direction.

As time passed, she finally managed to build a functional arm. The loss of power was still a fact, but at least it worked well enough to help. With that, she decided to leave Ironforge to see the world, hopefully learn enough to become a great engineer.
