Personality

Patricia Marlani is a crafty woman, as her trade by nature is dealing with the wrong side of the law. Extortion, drug dealing, smuggling, you name it, she'll take care of it. For a price of course. There's no price on a human life, they say. Bah! Everyone and everything has a price, and Trish is the woman to get you the best price. Excluding a modest finder's fee, of course. She likes to cause trouble and then profit off of it, since money to her is like water to all: She thrives off of it.

Other: Trisha does not like to get involved in disputes, as that would harm her business. However, she has no issue setting people up to cause a fight, then sell both sides the weapons in order to reach the maximum profit. She also enjoys the gladiator battles in Ratchet, and frequents them quite commonly. She is always on the lookout for potential slaves to sell or use for her own gain. Hey, lifting those boxes with drugs in them is not her job, okay? She sells, the labor hoists. Simple as that.

History

Patricia Marlani is the only daughter of Lord and Lady Marlani of Stormwind. Although her parents gave her whatever she wanted, they didn't give her what she needed: a cure for her deviousness. Trisha was always causing trouble, whether it be hiding jewelery in a servant's pockets and telling her parents that they were stealing, or adding an 'extra' ingredient to make the lovely dinner explode all over the kitchen. Despite all the trouble their daughter caused, they simply shrugged it off as a 'phase' she was going through. Trish wasn't disciplined for her deeds, and as such, her behavior got worse.

She began to blackmail people for money, threatening to reveal "personal endeavors". This angered multiple people, especially husbands who didn't want their wives to know of their infidelities, and as such, formulated a plot to bankrupt Lord Marlani. It was simple, accusing Marlani of stealing from the bank. With a few falsified documents and bribed bank workers to testify to Lord Marlani's supposed bad behavior, the aristocratic man from Lordaeron was forever banished from the city, his name dragged through the mud and shamed. He, his wife, and mischevious daughter were forced to leave the kingdom. However, Trisha got her revenge by sending proof to the homes of the dirty cheaters, and they got an earful for their own infidelities. Having no home, the Marlani family settled in Stormwind for awhile, where her father began to make a decent living for his family as an acconutant. However, this too was short-lived as he was killed in an attempted robbery by Defias. This opened a new scandal, revealing that the former lord Marlani had been squandering money to Goblins in order to fund the family's nicer expenses.

Sure enough, the goblins came and found Trisha and her mother. The goblins demanded payment, but neither of them had enough between them in order to pay fully. The goblins attempted to take them by force, which resulted in the accidental death of her mother, as well as one of the goblins due to faulty mechanical work. Trisha was taken as a slave in Gadgetzan, where she scrubbed tables and did housework, something she was not used to. However, this would be short, as her sharp wit and clever tongue would once again land her in the lap of luxury. Trisha made a bet with her owner for her freedom on who would win in a fight between three gnomes or one scruffed up, red-headed human. The goblin bet on the three gnomes, while Trisha bet on the human. Sure enough, the human pulled out on top and granted Patricia her freedom. The first thing she did with this freedom was changer her name to her nickname, Trisha, in an attempt to forget her past. She became focused on money and profit, cheap thrills, and lots of drugs. She found out after her drug and booze binge, she could sell it for five times as much as she was making it for. With a quick twist, she became associated with the Cartel, not officially a member, but worked with them enough to earn her fat bonuses. She'd call out other people doing the same thing she was, letting the Cartel deal with those stupid enough to not be connected in. Trisha seemed to know that this was the life for her, as she knew the golden rule of the Cartel: Once you're in, you only leave in one way. In a body bag.
