Personality

Tragga is very much 'live and let live' in most respects. If she sees a thief running down the pier towards her, from a mob of people, she'll likely stand aside and let him pass. However, if it's a mob following a murderer, and she knows it, she'll trip him and try to knock him out.

She's not one for social graces - she'll be very un-ladylike whenever she wants, including tracking mud into a building, or not saying 'excuse me' after a burp.

She loves the wild - and not simple forests such as Silverpine. The jungle wilds of Stranglethorn and Feralas, as well as Un'goro, keep her more at peace than the home of her people, Mulgore. She hunts for a living, and by that what is meant is that she hunts for food and leather to use, not sell for profit. If she doesn't need the meat or the leather, she won't kill the beast - so long as it doesn't attack her first.

She has a hatred for those who kill for no reason, and especially those whose reasons are corrupt: poachers.

She doesn't feel a real pull towards traditional Tauren religion, but subconsciously acts how a highly religious Tauren would in many situations. Saying a prayer after a kill, thanking the Earthmother for everything given and taken, and burning the excess to send the spirit of the kill towards a peaceful rest - each of these, she finds herself doing more often than not, even if she doesn't try to.

History

Having been born among a once-nomadic race makes it hard to place the region of her birth. She's never asked directly, but assumes it was near the Ashenvale-Barrens border. Growing up traveling, she saw many sights, but forgot almost as many as she grew. The shamans whispered to her parents as she grew, things they wouldn't speak of to Tragga. For unknown reasons, her parents were proud, even if Tragga's explosive hobbies were different from the other Tauren childrens'. Finding it more entertaining to toy with fire had its downside, of course, as many times she had to quickly put a fire out before it spread and became lethal.

By the age of ten, she was watching the older Shu'Halo make and use guns, eyes wide with wonder. Sometimes she would sketch the weapons, and on a few occasions grew bold enough to take a look at the guns while everyone else was asleep, taking them apart and seeing how they were made. Of course, it was much harder to put them back together, and in the morning she would get a scolding. But that didn't stop her.

She was adamant about fire, explosions, and the blast from the barrel of the musket. Aside from that, she grew up normally. She learned the same as other Tauren did, how to hunt and how to respect every beast on the plains. She was taught how to worship the Earthmother in all things, and keep the balance of nature - she particularly liked that the hunters were just as big a part of keeping the balance as the druids and shamans were.

Considering her like of guns, she became a hunter for her tribe, procuring meat and furs from the noble beasts of the land, and sometimes defending villages from harpy attacks. After some time, she felt that her tribe no longer needed her, and so set out from her home to see the world, hoping to gain honor among her people for the beasts she felled in the name of keeping the balance.

Tossing her former life behind her, she set out from Mulgore with nothing but a small amount of rations, her weaponry, and her armor. Even her name changed - she was no longer a Wildmane, but what the shamans called her most of her life. She was Tragga, who walks the path... Even if she didn't quite understand which path they meant.
