Skills and Abilities: Thomas knows a number of martial styles, including hand-to-hand combat and his own adapted technique of staff-defense. As a Priest, he values simple and straightforward spells and defensive magic but knows a few dirty tricks from both Light and Shadow that he saves for dire circumstances. He knows enough of battlefield first aid and medicine to complement his moderate skill in healing magic.

Usual Garments/Armor: Plain workman's clothes or a traveling robe or heavy cloak when on the road. Thomas usually carries a straight wooden staff and two knives, one for skinning and carving and the other for killing and shaving.

Personality: Thomas is a simple man whose desires are often quite visible. His early history as a soldier and battle-cleric has grounded him in a way that only the constant specter of death can, cementing both his desire to avoid violence if possible and his curiosity regarding the beliefs of the cultures of Azeroth. While he won't normally initiate a fight, Thomas has no qualms about teaching anyone with the gall to strike a man of faith the error of their ways.

Thomas has a great interest in the Cult of Elune, going so far as to approach members of the Sisters of Elune about their faith, though this has only rarely gone well. His deviant behavior with regards to religion and orthodoxy has made him a pariah of the Church of Stormwind, an organization he is only nominally still a member of. His personal denomination is more of a Gnostic Light-faith.

History: Born before the First War, Thomas has had the misfortune to experience two tumultuous conflicts near the frontlines. In his early teens, the kingdom of Azeroth burned, and Thomas and his family watched the green tide come crashing down from their home in Grand Hamlet.

As a youth possessed of no great stature and a healthy fear of death, Thomas joined the Order of Northshire in a bid to win himself a better social standing while at the same time avoiding the gruesome fate of a frontline soldier in the Alliance Army. His plan worked only partially. During his training, Thomas was pressed into service as a medic and battle-cleric against the Orcs during the Second War, earning him the title of Cleric and an even healthier fear of death.

After the war, Thomas traveled through the Human kingdoms on a whim, aimlessly walking and living off of alms and what odd jobs he could find on farms and in towns. During this time he developed his own set of philosophical thoughts on divinity and magic, and became increasingly divorced from the orthodoxy and ritual of the Church of Stormwind. At the end of this period of wanderings, Thomas managed to leave Lordaeron before the Scourge because of a desire to revisit Grand Hamlet. He considers this to be one of the best ideas he's ever had.

After the end of the Third War, Thomas traveled to the newly-founded kingdom of Theramore, where he spent a number of years as shepherd of a small parish before heading out into the wilderness of Kalimdor.

At present, Thomas wanders the world to sate his sense of adventure. Scarred, older, and not at all dissuaded, he still walks the paths less traveled in search of new sights and new ideas.
