Thalst doesn't like to sit idle in one place for long, after all, there is a whole world out there he has yet to see! He enjoys group hunting, setting traps, camping with others over a drink, and having a good time, he's all in all, care free.

History

Thalst, like many Ironforge Dwarves, was born in none other than...Ironforge! Yes 115 years ago this dwarf was the offspring of two dwarves, a man named Dreynuk, a drunken brawler and tradesmen, and Rethba, a tradeswomen and also a teacher of the outside world.

Childhood: Thalst lived a normal childhood, like any other, his father wasn't much help in raising the child, as he was always out on busieness trips, or of course, drinking and getting in to trouble. Rethba, his mother started to teach him about nature, and the outside world, and what it had to offer at a young age, over the years, Thalst became more and more interested in seeing the world, however, his parents, would not let him leave the walls of Ironforge. For good reason of course, after all, it was a dangerous world out there, and he had no experience in marksmenship or even the simplest forms of combat. And so there Thalst stay, in his home, dreaming of seeing the outside world and it's possibilities. When Thalst got older, and was starting to come of age, his mother decided it was time he choose a profession, she had taught Thalst all he could know of the world, based on her own knowledge. Thalst decided he wanted to become none other than a hunter, where he could use the knowledge of nature that he has learned over the years, his mother happiliy approved this direction in his life.

Adulthood: Through years of training, practicing, and study, Thalst had learned all he needed to be a full fledged hunter, truely, he had become a man. The day had come when Thalst decided he would leave the safety of the Ironforge walls, and set out on his own journeys, to see the world and hunt the biggest game he could find, and make his people, and more importantly, his friend's and family, proud. The day Thalst was setting out into Khaz Modan to leave home, his mother gave him something, it was a homemade field guide, giving sketches and information on many of the world's great, and dangerous creatures, this guide however had many, many blank pages. Rethba said to her son, "Thalst, it's time you have learned more about the world...this is all i have taught you put in to a book, but the rest of the book, you must make yourself, recording the beasts that you will encounter, the places that -you- will find, this is now your book, your life, your adventure...make me proud my dear son." And so Thalst set off into the world, traveling from the high mountain tops, to the vast seas, Thalst saw much in his journeys.

To present day: Thalst has seen much in his life, he has been many places, recording many new creatures, dodged many world events, such as wars, battles, enemy factions, he had become quite the hunter, and quite the explorer. After years upon years, he decided to revisit home, to see his family, when he came back...his old childhood home, the home he had become a boy to a man in, was empty, he asked around, when finally he learned, his father and mother had passed on, due to being attacked on the way back to Ironforge from a trading journey. The old stout dwarf, Talok, a long time family friend invited the heartbroken Thalst to his house one evening. Talok spoke slowly to the dwarf, "Your mother...Rethba, was truely a great women, Thalst, and over the years, and even now, I think of you as some sort of a...son. Your mother made in back to Ironforge in pieces, we could not save her, with her dying breath, she spoke to me, she requested, if you should ever return...to give you this..." Thalst looked at the big black case that was given to him by Talok, it was long, and partially wide. Thalst opened the case with a long stare, and tears...yet, a smile. Thalst was given the family treasure, the Ironmaul family Rifle, the beautiful rifle was an incredibly well crafted gun, very accurate, made of fine materials and metals, truely, a prized possession of the Ironmaul family. Thalst hugged Talok in tears, and went to live at the old Ironmaul Home, which was rightfully his home, under his name. Now Thalst, though still an adventurer, and a hunter, has taken refuge and has settled down at his childhood home in the great city of Ironforge, only thinking about what will await him next in his already exciting life...
