Personality
Thalarion is very considerate, which in turn leads him being quite indecisive when making important decisions. He will usually be too proud to admit if he does not know something, turning to books for aid instead. He is as good as his word and keeps to his decisions.
Thalarion is generally peaceful and kind, but firm. He is dedicated to his studies, but tends to forget when to stop and will occasionally spend many hours learning.
History
More than two hundred years ago in the city of eternal spring, Quel’Thalas, an elven boy named Thalarion was born into the well respected Dawnstrider family.
Thalarion looked up to his father, a member of the Silvermoon City Magisterium, who taught him about arcane magic. It was not long before Thalarion followed in his father’s footsteps to become an arcane mage himself.
In his adolescence he took up enchanting as a hobby, collecting magical dusts and essences in his free time, experimenting on weaponry and armor. As the years passed his interest grew bigger in this fascinating art and he was taken under the wing of a local enchanter, where he studied well into his adulthood.
It was not long before Thalarion, now an experienced arcanist and enchanter, joined the Silvermoon City Magisterium where he met his mate, an elven mage named Kelaya.
Thalarion and Kelaya already had two children of their own by the time the First War started. When the Second War began, Thalarion was one of the elves to lend a hand of aid to the humans, the elves’ skill in the use of magic proving a great asset against the orcs.
After the High Elves officially joined the Alliance, Thalarion set off to Dalaran to widen his knowledge on the schools of fire and frost using the resources of the Kirin Tor.
The euphoria was short-lived, however. It was during one of his many visits to his family when the scourge stepped upon the threshold of their beloved city to corrupt the Sunwell.
That day he made a decision he will always regret. Ordering Kelaya to take the children and hide somewhere safe, Thalarion fought alongside the other elves to defend Silvermoon City. When the forces drove too far into the city, Thalarion retreated in search of his wife and children, only to find their lifeless bodies under debris. He was devastated.
His only choice was to flee with Prince Kael’Thas Sunstrider and the other survivors into Outland where they eventually learned to consume fel to help feed their magic addiction. It was dark days.
Finally the Blood Elves, as they now called themselves, returned to Silvermoon City to rebuild it and restore it to its former glory with the aid of the Magisters.
Thalarion returned to Dalaran where he resumed his former studies. It was not long before the Shattered Sun Offence reclaimed the Sunwell and purifying it, freeing the Blood Elves from their magic addiction.
