Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Tarne is more of a "simple" troll than most others. He's slow to learn, can't seem to speak very well, and has an overall lack of common sense. Compared to other Trolls - or even other races-, you may just call him dumb. However he makes up for his low intelligence in combat. Tarne is a savage brute in battle, and can be compared to the viciousness of a dire Troll. Using guerilla style tactics, face paint, and the previously mentioned "battle mask", he will use scare tactics and pure unrelenting aggressiveness and strength to overcome his opponents.

Tarne is often insulted and fooled because of his intelligence. More than once has he been manipulated to do another's dirty work. Tarne is not one for arguing however, he often gets uncontrollably violent if pushed too far over the edge by someone taunting him. He's is also not one for planning, he prefers to just go out and do something instantly; he really believes he's unstoppable. Truly, he's a reckless berserker.

History

Tarne is a Darkspear Troll born 28 years ago on the Broken Isle. Tarne's low intelligence was noticed at very early stages in his life. To his parents, he was an embarrassment, and because of this: he was an outcast.

Over the years Tarne was picked on by others, being picked on every day. But people knew not to push the young Troll too far, for if they did, they would soon see the wrath of his surprise aggression and anger that can be unleashed.

When Tarne was beginning to turn in to a man he was still rather uneducated, which had his family ashamed and worried. Zak'rath, a friend of Tarne's parents saw potential, however, in the boy's spirit and cunning. He immediately offered to train him in to a warrior. Tarne happily accepted Zak'rath's training. In the short amount of time they trained together, Tarne picked up many fighting skills as if it were his true calling, and became exceedingly strong in the area of combat, especially with the tomahawk.

Good times only lasted so long though. Tarne had become a man, and it was time to put what he had learned, along with his natural gift, to the test. The murloc invasions began, and Tarne stayed with his trainer, helping defend those he was told to. Though Tarne did not know how to treat someone medically, he was just about one of the best bodyguards you could find in a short amount of time.

Thrall and the Orcs came around, and soon the murlocs were defeated. Tarne and Zak'rath decided to join the Orcs on the expedition to Kalimdor, along with the other Trolls. Tarne really didn't have a good idea of what was really happening, but trusting Zak'rath with his fate, he followed him everywhere.

When the Orcs and trolls arrived at Kalimdor, Tarne helped his allies, new and old, fight off Tiragarde soldiers after they invaded the Echo Isles, where the Trolls had found their new home. He then settled in the Echo Isles, thinking all the terror had ceased, when the worst event of his life unfolded. Zalazane had risen his slave army, and Tarne's parents were taken from him, but more importantly, Zak'rath was also enslaved by Zalazane's grasp. Tarne was evacuating the Isles when he was confronted by the controlled Zak'roth himself. He cried as he brutally defeated one of his only friends he has ever had. Tarne settled down, after a period of rage and depression, in Sen'jin. After a year's time though, Tarne found he had no real purpose or reason to stay at his new home. One night, simple as he himself is, he wandered off aimlessly, drifting for a purpose and admirable use in life.
