Being a proud member of the House of Ayares, Tandis takes his role as the family heir seriously as he does his best to act accordingly in the public eye. As an active participant in the political affairs of Silvermoon he acts both elegant and tactful when speaking his mind at meetings, social outings or the many parties he frequently attends. Behind closed doors though Tandis can be cruel and manipulative and isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty in the dark alleys of Silvermoon.

History

Born into the House of Ayares the oldest of two, he spent his childhood apprenticing to become a Magister of the House as was the tradition in the family. When he was still a young apprentice his parents were killed and the weight of the entire house had been left to him. As the heir he was to manage it's assets and take it's place on the council of Magisters. Unfortunately he was still to young to take the seat so a temporary member of the family filled it until he was older. To add to all of this he had to take care of his younger sister Inara, who while being a sweet young girl, was a very big troublemaker.

As the says went by Tandis took care of Inara as any Brother would do, he was very protective of her making sure she stuck to her studies and scolding her when she refused. Tandis continued his own studies working his way up, eventually learning from Felin'areth Eduriel. Wishing to become a Blood Mage himself, he began studying deeper into Fire Magic eventually going further looking into Fel and how it can enhance the use of Fire Magic. Near the second opening of the Dark Portal Tandis finally become what he wanted, a honorary Blood Mage as he took his rightful spot on the Magister's Council.

It was around this time that Inara, his sister, finally fed up with his control over her life insisted on leaving, heading to Outland to fight and learn she would leave one way or another. Tandis who couldn't afford to give up his obligations in Silvermoon let her go, he hasn't seen her since.

Troubling times began to start for him with the restoration of the Sunwell, as a Blood Mage and Fel Conjure he was one of many who were responsible for the creation of Fel Crystals which sustained their people and until now this was a very powerful position to be in, and was often exploited to gain political favor and assistance.

With the reliance on Fel Crystals no longer there the balance of power shifted, and the exploited began exploiting. One such Elf was Grand Magister Morius Sunblade. Up until now he was a constant supporter of the Ayares Family, in return the Ayares family would supply him with Higher Quality Crystals for a much lower price. With the return of the Sunwell that support suddenly vanished as his own son was now pushing for Tandis' seat on the Council.

Tandis realizing he was losing support knew it was only a matter of time before he would lose his seat. Tandis did what he could with the time he had left, gathering as many assets as he could; embezzling gold, as well as a number of other Reagents. Eventually his seat was taken by Grand Magister Sunblades son, and with that Tandis resigned from the Blood Mages, clearing himself of any obligations as he began to work on his own agenda.

Currently, Tandis spends most of his time between Silvermoon and the Ayares Estate Tower. Some have reported seeing him in the lower Sanctums of Silvermoon but these rumors cannot be confirmed.
