Tandalyn very protective when it comes to anything to do with her family, she would even try to take a bullet for them. Keeping a very loyal attitude to her house, she does try to keep a good picture in public. When she is in public you could see a respectful and calming Blood elf. She will talk to anyone that isn't a noble but would not think twice about putting them in their place if they tried to come on to her. While she is protective and polite, due to the many years of training as an assassin, she is usually seen as a very quiet individual. She spends more time examining the person that is trying to talk to her before she says anything.

History

Born into the Sunfire family, Tandalyn happened to be the first child. She was born into a life of luxury, given the chances that many would have only dreamed of getting. She was given the chance to train into anything that she wanted, so she took to the art of the shadows and poison. She was just barely eighteen years old when her first lesson started, and it was one of her hardest.

“You want to learn these things for a reason?” The instructor stared at Tandalyn with a composure that made the younger girl shiver. “I-it is moore...” The young girl let out a sigh “It is more like…I am interested into these art because I have only heard them in books and stories…I just find the things fascinating.” The instructor continued to look her over before letting out a sigh. “Then you will learn, your first lesson today it to kill this lynx we had brought out from the woods” He nods and two people walked into the room with a good size sack. When they removed the sack she could see the tied up lynx and was now restricted to move. “The most basic and simple assassinations come from stealth, Tandalyn, you will not get a fight from someone unaware of you, would you be able to pull yourself to kill a defenseless being?” Tandalyn takes in the information almost wide eyed “Did the lynx do something bad?” The instructor looked at the lynx then to the elf. “This lynx did nothing more than find a place for her cubs to stay, and find food to provide them with, however, a man hired us because while she was looking for food she stole attacked him because he was trying to take her game… But that is not the point, the point is will you kill this cat or not?”

Tandalyn blinks but nods. “Y-you said it is what we are hired to do? Then I must follow the rules.” She stood walking to the man taking a dagger from him then walked over to the tied up lynx, she knelt down to look over the defenseless animal before she raised the blade into the air. “I am sorry…” Was the last thing the elf said before bringing the dagger down into the lynx. The instructor nodded with approval and had his men take the lynx away. He walked over to the young girl that was now sitting on the floor in shock after what she just did; he knelt down and patted her on the back. “Good job, that was day one, we will continue tomorrow.

Upon the vast amounts of training she did during her days, she had to keep balance with helping the workers at her house take care of her siblings. She knew that they would get raised but she wanted to be there for them because she was the oldest sibling.

During the Second War, she was told that her father had passed in battle. She mourned the loss of her father but kept trying to balance her job as an older sister and as a student.

When Quel’thalas was sacked by Arthas, the withdrawals of missing the Sunwell did take its toll on her, she agreed to take in the fel when it was introduced to them. Feeling more of herself, she returned to her studies in the arts of the shadows.

“This is your last lesson from me Tandalyn.” The man sat in a chair sipping of a cup of what seemed to be some juice. “You have learned all I can teach you, just remember one thing.” The elf tilted her head. “What is that mentor?” The elf smiled at the girl. “Never forget reality, there are times in this job that it can feel like you are doing something important, but you will always come to fact that you did kill someone and they could or could have not been innocent, you must find something that will keep you from going insane Tandalyn, or you will go insane.” Tandalyn thought for a second but nodded. “I understand and I do believe I have found something to keep my sane, my family.” The mentor nodded finished his drink. “Then I have nothing else I could possibly teach you, do what you can for the shadows my student and do keep yourself alive.” The girl bowed before leaving to return home.

Her mother left at some point during the Third War, being the oldest of the house, she made sure that her siblings were cared for. By now, they all were mostly old enough to take care of themselves, but she was there if they needed her. Tandalyn finished her training around the same time her mother left and began to take on small contracts for assassinations, nothing big, but something to keep her skills sharpened.

News of her mother’s return was a shock to Tandalyn because she had simply suspected that her mother was dead as well. She found her mother, and what she found shocked her more than the news of her being alive. She seemed off, well more off than usual, her eyes we an icy blue and her skin looked dead. Tandalyn had only heard stories of Death Knights but never thought she would have seen one in person. The reunion with her mother was indeed a cold one.

With the strange return of her mother, Tandalyn now spends her time moving around Silvermoon ether doing things for her mother, or just finding some odd job to pass her time.
