Personality

Surma is kind, loyal, and caring in most every way. Although this is true, it never gets in the way of his killing, if he should ever need to do so for any reason. He is also the type of person that will only follow rules if he believes that they are correct in his own personal view, if not, he will do it his way and his way only. Surma would never betray someone he cared about but would put his own life on the line to protect someone close, weaker or stronger than himself.

Despite being slightly naive, he mostly knows his own standing in life and where he seems to fit, even though he's not completely sure of everything he'd like to be sure of. This being one of his life's main goals, he uses his experiences to try and build himself a foundation and work on it from there. Surma has a positive outlook on life, making him approachable and also very social, as he believes that if your alone, then you have nothing else to fight for. He tries not to do stupid things that could get him killed unless he has true reason behind his motives. In general, Surma is a nice person, but would kill in a heartbeat if push came to shove, or he had good enough reason for his actions, which normally he does.

History

Surma was born in Ashenvale, in a small shack deep in the forests. Throughout his childhood, he constantly yearned for something more than the common Kaldorei lifestyle, and showed it often with his disruptiveness. Even though he formed a rough exterior, Surma was generally quite respectful to those he believed deserved his respect, although this didn't consist of many. He was able to do many things, and was chosen as a potential druid, but generally didn't want to, feeling that if he followed the same path as the rest, he would lose his individuality, thus, his purpose also. This is what made him decide he wanted to become Rogue, and differ from his chosen path, to make his own.

Surma's life was fairly simple until the dawn of the third war, which appealed to his nature, as fighting for a good reason was a win-win situation. He'd be fighting, and doing good also, protecting his people from the Burning Legion. With the battle over, and the Kaldorei's immortality lost, Surma was angered, losing everything he had everything he had ever wanted from life, as he would now have too little time to do it.

Since he had lost everything, he decided to live in Stormwind amongst the humans. Even after growing up in Ashenvale where mostly everyone was a xenophobic, he had come to respect them after fighting alongside so many in Hyjal. Surma didn't see the point in staying somewhere he didn't fit in, and decided to spend his devastatingly reduced life, somewhere where he might have more meaning.

Now, he spends the most time working and helping others, still looking for something bigger to live for, and using the remainder of his time to learn.

Skills and Abilities

Water Running - Surma has the capability to run across water due to the speed that he can run. He was never able to run very far, however, in recent years another Rogue Night Elf taught him how to double his distance.

Extended Physical Ability (Movement) - Due to years of travel and combat, Surma has learned how to move in a much more agile way, allowing him to perform helpful physical maneuvers.

Golden Tongue - Surma is very good with his words, and although not always successful, his ability to persuade is a strong one.

Accurate Throwing - Surma has the ability to target even the most unlikely targets with his throwing knives. When he became a Rogue, this was the first thing he taught himself, and with enough practice gained this skill.
