Personality

Alignment: Lawful Evil

People have necks. Most of them, anyways. And because of this, as Sparrow walks, he prefers to step on them to get to the top. Sparrow Allemann will completely break someone's back to get to where he pleases. He immediately demands respect from the lesser, weaker fellows, of any race or class, and will use those who do respect him to break and smash those who do not. Sparrow prefers to stay behind the frontlines, watching with enjoyment as men perish before him, for his money. He's incredibly wasteful yet resourceful, spending money fruitlessly yet maximizing the best way to beat someone to get them to work harder and faster.

He has a mangled sense of humor, preferring his jokes as stinging and personal against those who he delves them. This couples with his cold personality to seem overtly stinging and rude to those abounding. However he does not do this with smiling malice, Sparrow prefers to be as quiet as possible in his ascensions. Years of hatred pulsed and turned into black, callous cold hearted caring to anyone around.

History

Born to a filthy, alcoholic clockmaker and his overweight, frazzle haired wife, Sparrow Allemann landed in a season of Stormwind in which the only fires were those that were either forges or burning buildings, and people could only make such simple tasks as drawbridges and basic mechanics. The young child was growing into mild comprehension of the world as the father stormed in from the rain, seeking his salacious wife. He seasoned a bottle in his hand and smashed it swiftly, pursuing across the room to the woman as Sparrow watched on in fear. The crack of thunder split the sky, and a scream of sorrow tore after it in the wake. One cut across her face, another slew her shoulder. She lay on the ground crying to nothing, as he slunk upstairs, slamming the door. The rain continued to pour as Sparrow sat on the ground for hours. He eventually fell asleep in the corner of stone he sat in, and when he woke up, his mother was still on the ground, and beginning to reek of sunken flesh and still blood. The rain still drew upon the building, and his father was already back at work. Sparrow sneaked upstairs, stealing away to the small food storage. He ate, leaving no trace, and went back downstairs. The poverty of life was reduced to mindless hours of tumbling sleep and boredom, as he moved upstairs, unable to take the scathing smell of rot and the flies in the air.

Daniel Allemann came in by evening, drunk again, and threw his former wife into a river near Stormwind, just as the rain diminished. Sparrow fell asleep between a sack of potatoes and grain in the food storage, and his father took no notice, only storming in for more alcohol and bread. By the next morning, he was gone, and Sparrow was alone once more. This continued for weeks, as Daniel brought home more and more whores and prostitutes to sate his unfathomable lust. Sparrow left as soon as his father did, and began spending his childhood as far away as possible. Running through fields stupidly, no contact with the outside world. No citizens took notice of him, they were all ill-content and far too concerned with their poverty. He was out of the city as it was invaded by orcs, and unfortunately, Daniel survived. He stayed with other refugees in Westfall before moving back as the city took hold, now the young boy turning into a teenager. He stayed with a quietly intelligent family in Westfall as Daniel Allemann lived in poverty amongst Stormwind's rebuilding. It was at this time that Sparrow learned the mastery of business and technology, as Gnomes and Dwarves began moving out of their hovels to introduce themselves to the Humans. This cusp of his intelligence took hold, and he skyrocketed in his learning, outsmarting books and outdated fashions. By the time Sparrow was seventeen, he owned a small engineering shop in Stormwind. He didn't run it, he hardly set foot inside, but it was a source of income immediately as people began to make use of it. The first thing he bought was a sleek black cane and a white jacket.

As he sealed the deal with another group of people to buy a machine shop, Sparrow walked out into the rain, holding an umbrella, and walked to Old Town of Stormwind, weaving in between buildings to a small hovel that seemed larger the last time he had visited it. He opened the door, which was not locked or even completely closed, as Daniel Allemann was asleep at his desk. He looked up as lighting cracked the sky, and Sparrow stood in the doorway. Daniel scrambled, turning on a light that one of Sparrow's company had created, and looked upon his son. His face turned from rage to confusion almost instantly. He spoke out to his son, his heart filling with joy to know that his son was alive. However, Sparrow simply walked slowly across the room. Daniel came to him, looking up to his tall son, as Sparrow brought down the cane. It cracked across his jaw and Daniel went flying into a near empty bookshelf, right where his mother had lain and died overnight. The entrepreneur beat his father to death as rain poured and lightning cracked, just as his mother had died years before. Sparrow walked out and closed the door, letting the rain wash his cane off, and moved himself to the Stormwind Guard office. Five hundred gold later, and nobody would ever set foot in his old home again, not the Guard, not even squatters. It was sealed off by plates generously donated from lesser companies, as Sparrow bought four more businesses within the year. The businesses rose to power as Stormwind was dominated by Engineering and the Third War took great hold. He supplied a great fortune of machinery to the Alliance, all being bought on bonds and paid back after the war.

It was not long until Sparrow Allemann had amassed a great fortune. He lived in a lavish mansion in Stormwind as peace mostly returned to the city-state, living with multiple women he could care less about. He had one or two killed at his expense, and began to feel unhappy. It was at this time that he had torture stations built across the world, capturing races and studying them, breaking their backs in the name of industry. Factories rose to supply the war, stressing the workers to their exact limits. Factories built on both sides of factions even, as the war turned to the North. Sparrow's fortune continued to grow as the Lich King swelled back against them. He funded a great many of the buildings upon the new cities of Northrend for those not living in Dalaran. His money turned to blood money as he funded both sides of the factions to fight one another, great boredom taking hold upon himself. He developed his ability to turncoat anyone, immediately known to himself and only his closest inferiors as a back-biting killer. Any new industry claiming to rise up against Sparrow Industries just 'vanished' over night. Monopoly was cried, and soon Sparrow divided the industry into ones that he continued to control, appearing as if they were all equal and happy, and nobody continued to die in factories from freak accidents. Sparrow now spends his days finding new ways to spend his money, lingering in shady places and in the hearts of seedy people.
