Personality

Sophiana has two sides. She shares one with friends and in more informal settings. In such situations, she is often quite relaxed and is usually one to try and strike up conversations with others. When in her line of work, she usually tries to act ‘professional' to a great extent. Since she sells things for a living, she sees this as the easiest way to try and do just that.

History

Sophiana was born in Dun Morogh some time before the Second War. She grew up within a large family and had many siblings with her. At a young age, she began helping her mother extensively in the family's shop in Gnomeregan where they sold enchanted items. Her mother, being a mage, tried to instill teachings of the arcane into Sophiana and her brothers and sisters, but it never seemed to catch on with Sophiana.

Her father was in the Alliance army at the time; he took part in the Second War. After the war ended, he'd find himself home often, yet still called to small skirmishes in the Alliance lands. Each time he would come home to his family, Sophiana would be eager to learn combat from him. With her father's help, she soon developed some skills as a rogue herself, just like him. As she came of age, she even began taking a more responsibility-demanding role in her mother's shop; she would begin helping sell the small little enchanted items with her mother and other siblings. Now that she was an older child, she began to care for her siblings more often too.

At the time of the invasion of Gnomeregan, Sophiana was with a few members of her family. They traversed the panicked city until they reached the snows of Dun Morogh. It took the family weeks to regroup and cope with the loss of the city, but eventually resulted with Sophiana setting off to pursue her own profession and becoming a merchant. She would never truly cope with the horrors of Gnomeregan and the sentimental value that was lost during it. As the Third War came to a close, Sophiana was a merchant with not too much success. She's remained this way since.
