Personality

Alignment: Neutral

She is rather selective in how she treats people. So her associates and workers she is fair. To strangers they are potential slaves, and she definitely will backstab and poison to get a few gold around the area. However, at other times she is more cunning, for example, if she is hired to capture a person she may collaborate with her target to extort and trick the client that hired her. Her only true loyalty is towards her crew, and the people -she- hires. Because of that she has a bit of a reputation for being tricky and unreliable.

She is proud of the things she has, and while gold is a nice commodity, her most cherished things are her ship, and the prestige of being a captain. While she does try to act business-minded with the gold, she seems to be overall immature, wanting at the very least some fun and adventure.

History

Eliza was born to a pirate wench at sea, and because of this she had spent most of her life on a boat. While it might have been an exciting life for some, it wasn't for her. Her childhood consisted mostly of following around her mother and playing with a ragdoll. She also liked to run around on deck a lot and feel the wind at her face. Because she was pretty peppy and upbeat as a little kid, many of the pirates had called her Skipper and the name stuck to her ever since.

However, she could only play for so long. As soon as she got big enough she was made to pull her weight. The little girl had to swab decks, scrub pans, help the cook, help with the sails, and pretty much do every odd-job imaginable. Also after any of the bloody-pirate fights on deck(which were fortunately few), she had assist their doctor, and it wasn't exactly the most pleasant experience for a kid. While the crew plundered and made their fortunes, Skipper was stuck with a lot of the work, and didn't get to do much for excitement. In fact, in dangerous situations she was made to stay below deck with her mother.

In her teen years she had started becoming rowdy and wanted a better piece of the action. The pirate captain had noticed, but said that she still couldn't be a pirate, at least until she was more experienced. Because of that she would solicit the other pirates to teach her about fencing and what it was to swing a sword, and managed to fit in time to practice sword-fighting on and off.

A few more years of this passed and she was nearing the age of being an adult. She had started to make her own wage, and was saving for her own sword so she could show the captain that she had what it took. However, before she ever received such a promotion, the boat they were on had to navigate a terrible storm, before being smashed apart into the rocks. Skipper washed up along the shores of a jungle she had never before seen, and made her way to Booty Bay.

There, Skipper had managed to scrounge up a bit of food and survive on the coin she had. She started to toy with poisons for a year or so, hoping it would give her a certain advantage to making coin on the roads to Booty Bay, but it was tough, and she hated where her life had brought her. She had started to scheme, wondering if there was a way to get into a pirate crew without having to be a deckhand. That was when the idea struck her: she would start her own! She had formulated a plan, got others to join her, and managed to poison a passenger ship that was heading from Booty Bay to Ratchet.

Needless to say it was a success. The poison, which made everyone feverish, allowed her and her associates to kill the weakened crew, and seize the passengers as slaves. This gained her a ship, a good sum of money, and allowed her to assume the position of captain among the people that helped her out. With their shares equally divided, and some of the other plunder, she had the passenger ship upgraded to Stormwind before returning to Booty Bay to get cannons. Now, armed with her own ship and crew, Skipper is eagerly awaiting hew new life of plunder and mayhem as a pirate captain.
