Personality

Alignment: Neutral Good

Sindar is a trustworthy person, almost always willing to help anyone as much as he can. He values friendship and honesty above all else but is also careful and aware. He likes spending time alone but would pick the company of another of his own kin anytime over loneliness.

Following the druidic teachings he loves nature and life in all its forms, being interested in exploring and learning as much as he can about different places, cultures, history and specially.. people.

He cares little for most races of the Horde, hating the Orcs, but has a greater toleration and understanding for the druids of the Tauren whom he considers of lesser evil for concerning themselves with the Earthmother.

He is neutral towards most Humans and Gnomes but enjoys the company of Dwarves (with whom he had some dealings in the past). He also thinks Draenei are a proud race and respects them for that (not to mention he is attracted by the appearance of their females). The Kal'Dorei own a special place in his heart. He has great reverence for his own kin and will go to great lengths to aid them at times of need.

History

Sindar was born in the heart of Ashenvale in the town of Astranaar. His father, Lorwe, was also a druid and his mother, Nieda, was a hunter.

Few years after Sindar was born, he was taken to Auberdine to live with his uncle. It is there that he spent most of his childhood with his older sister, Vala. She was beautiful, soft skinned, kind and a fast learner. One day his father arrived with sorrow in his heart bringing bad news. Sindar's mother died.

Since then, Lorwe took him and Vala on various trips through Darkshore teaching them about nature and surviving in the wild. But since Lorwe's explorations often took him far away, Sindar and Vala were left home with their uncle. They spent a lot of time together and soon made trips of their own through Darkshore exporing the beaches and caves.

It was in that period when Sindar grew fond of his sister and began to respect her. They talked a lot about the world and what they will become when they finally leave Darkshore.

In time they grew and Vala was now wiser and most fair among the girls and she spent most of her time learning the ways of becoming a priest. Sindar was also traveling a lot more with his father and even outside Darkshore. His father was trying to teach him patience and instruct him in the arts of druidism but Sindar's thoughts were with his sister whom he dearly missed. In this period of his life he also experienced amazing moments and gained memories he will never forget. There were good times when they used to set camp deep into the forest and tell tales to each other but also bad times when they were chased by hungry wolves and one thing Sindar is never going to forget is how he got his scar.

Soon after that, Lorwe decided to take Vala and Sindar to places even further than Ashenvale. So it came that one day he proposed he would need company into a long trip to a distant place called Stranglethorn. Sindar only heard about this place in tales and knew it was very far into the southern parts of the Eastern Kingdoms but that aroused his interest even more. He was deeply saddened to hear that his father would only bring one of them with him for he could not assure safety for both and decided to let his sister go, for he loved her deeply and knew that she also wanted to see the world.

Upon departure, Sindar gave his sister a necklace, told her it would keep her safe and hugged her warmly. She also gave him a ring and a lamp, telling him that it would be the light in the dark if he ever needed it and smiled. That was the last time he saw her and his father. To this day nobody knows what happened to them. All of Sindar's friends believe that they are dead but he still thinks they are just missing and unable to return home. He has sworn that one day he will have both knowledge and skill to embark on a journey to Stranglethorn in the hopes of laying his eyes on them again. He is now troubled by the past and although he does not want to show it, sometimes it's just obvious.
