Her somewhat reserved and secluded personality made Shimak a straightforward woman. This also severely made a impact on her vocal abilities when using Common and Orcish, unable to make fitting sentences and has trouble making complicated things clear. She's distrustful against any pinkskin and even Forsaken. She does tolerate them when forced to work or be with them, but often mutters insults in the language of her people.

History

Shimak is a descendant of a long and proud line of hunters within the Darkspear tribe. The circumstances of her raising were a special case for the tribe, as she was the only child her parents had at the time being while her ancestors favored her to follow the path all male members of her family followed. After much controversy and debating within her family she was secretly trained to become a huntress. After her trials set by the family to prove her worth she was initiated as a full-fledged huntress and was given a Worgen whelp which she named Chutak.

When she started to hone her skills after learning what was required to practice on her own with Chutak, she started to become a scout concerning the troubles with the Murlocs. As a scout, she played a minor role in taking care of providing food and other things for the tribe. All of this information and gathering was passed to her family which would share it with the rest of the tribe, keeping their secret somewhat safe.

As the conflicts began to worsen and the trolls started to suffer losses, their fate started looking more grim with each passing fight. When she witnessed Thrall arrive with his freed Orcs, she was reassured; knowing in her heart that everything was going to be okay when witnessing the help they gave the tribe. She helped her tribe in the final conflict against the murlocs and was sad when she heard the news that Sen’jin had passed away. In the aftermath of the conflict she found out that most of her distant family was slaughtered, while her direct and close family remained alive.

When the whole tribe relocated to the Echo isles, Shimak started to gather food and other supplies for the village. Still trying her best to stay hidden to hide her true work, acting more like a cook inside the village where she often cooked the food the caught herself. Everything was fine for her until Zalazane betrayed the Darkspears, forcing them to relocate again and that was also the time she witnessed the changed the tribe made new ways the Horde would support. Allowing her to not hide in the shadows of the men and show her trade with pride.

As things fell into their place, time passed and she went along skirmishes to help the Horde. After leaving the army to come home, she was fortunate enough to avoid the events on Northrend. Wanderlust began to set in as she began to listen to the stories her uncles and other family members started to share with her, wishing to see those places herself she promptly left with permission to become an adventurer until she returns to her village.
