Shaavi is a fighter through and through. There is no greater glory than to engage in combat with another being, regardless of moral standing. She's a scrappy individual who enjoys the thrill of battle, and often fights in a playful manner even when formally trained. Shaavi is a Warrior seeking to prove herself in arms, yet she is a very spiritual individual. She respects all religions and walks of life even though she herself believes in the Naaru. From The Light to Shamanism, Elune to the Loa, she pays tribute to them and holds them almost as sacred as the believers themselves, even without direct understanding of their beliefs. She is kind to most of the other races, expect for her peoples long standing enemy, the Orcs. Shaavi dislikes Blood Elves as well like most of her kind.

History

Shaavi was born like many of her kind, on a drifting Dimensional Ship, fleeing from the Burning Legion. She was raised by her mother and father alongside the caring close nit community of the ships inhabitants. For decades the ship hopped from planet to planet, trying to find refuge from Kil'Jaeden and his demon horde. With this Shaavi learned a great deal about other worlds, even though they only resided on these planets for a short period of time. Her parents taught her of the Burning Legion and why they never ceased to stay on one world for too long. They taught her of the Naaru and The Light, and how these great deities saved their people. As she grew to be a young adult aboard the Oshu'gun; her Father, who was a Vindicator, trained her in basic combat and tactics.

Many years later the Draenei people discovered Draenor, at last offering Shaavi and her family to settle down once more, away from the confines of the ship. Years passed as they carved out a living in this new land, in what seemed a peaceful existence. In the bastion city of Shattrath, Shaavi ventured out for herself, picking up the trades of a merchant as she sold her mothers gems. As her mercantile skills developed she started bartering more exotic things from food to fabric, even hand crafted goods from the local artisans. She was beginning to look toward expanding into a bigger shop, or even two as time pasted, but none could have foreseen what would happen next.

Their once peaceful neighbors, the Orcs, besieged Shattrath with a mighty onslaught. In defense of the city against the tainted Orcs, Shaavi's father took up arms with his fellow Vindicators and held the city for as long as they could. As her father and many valiant defenders charged the Orcs, Shaavi and her mother fled from Shattrath. The mass chaos of thousands of Draenei being slaughtered by their attackers was terrifying. The population was so rife with panic that the city's exits were being blocked by all the civilians trying to escape. Whoever wasn't close enough to the paths or fast enough to run, did not survive. As Shaavi ran into the wall of fleeing civilians trying to escape the massacre she quickly found her self pressed in between hundreds of her fellow Draenei from behind, trapped in a fearful mass of men, women, and children. The cries and screams were deafening in the crowd, and each of them unforgettable.

For years Shaavi fled with her mother, all around Draenor as the Orcs nipped at the surviving numbers. Again she and her mother were on the run, only from a different enemy. As hope had been all but lost, word spread that another Naaru ship had been spotted. This vessel was Tempest Keep, a monolithic fortress capable of carrying hundreds of thousands. What was left of the Draenei people rallied their strength and traveled to the keep. Shaavi was part of a “hijacker” team that grappled for control of the ship from the Blood Elves occupying it. She alongside the few Draenei capable of fighting managed to seize one of Tempest Keeps wings, the Exodar. As the remaining population boarded the ship the Blood Elf presence sabotaged the engines of the Exodar. This in turn rendered the ship uncontrollable, and led to the Exodar crashing off the coast of Darkshore.

During the time after the ship had crashed, Shaavi managed to survive the crash and locate her mother, who had also survived. After the Draenei people began to settle on Azuremyst contact with the Night Elves was made. At first both were wary of one another, the Elves mistaking the Draenei for Eredar, the very people they exiled themselves from. As time passed both races developed a tight bond with each other. Shaavi became fascinated with Night Elves and wanted to learn more about these beings, intrigued by their beliefs and way of life. She marveled at their military force and how it was comprised mostly of females. In her weakened state of mind from experiencing horrible atrocities, she found strength in her new found allies. She trained herself to fight, just as a sentinel would, and how to fend for herself in the wild. She learned much from Kaldorei culture and eventually sparked a fire in her soul. A need to test herself in battle arose as she grew more confident in her fighting prowess. Now she travels around Azeroth as a fighter, ready to challenge a capable adventurer to battle.
