Personality

Quiet, independent, stubborn, arrogant and hot-headed, these would be the words most would choose to describe Seidran. None would be lying to do so either. As most blood elves Seidran thinks very highly of himself and carries himself with that pride. If he thinks low of a person he is not afraid to show it and speaks honestly in any situation. In-spite of this he does not do so out of cruelty or lack of feeling. He simply doesn't know much better. He favors honestly and is rarely hurt by it, so he doesn't really understand when others are bothered by it. So in some cases he is seen as a verbal bully when in truth he just making a passive comment. Because of this he is often and quickly made frustrated by people, either their lack of honesty or their rejection of it causes him to try to spend a great deal of time alone, appreciating the people who seek out his company over those he has to seek out. His short temper usually shows itself in fights and he will often show bad judgment or blind fury in fights that are going down hill, preferring to burn everything down and worry about consequences later. A small handful of individuals can snap him out of a rampage in some cases.

History

Warcraft II

During the second war Seidran was married with a young daughter. When the Elves joined the alliance he served as a Dalaran mage though after experiencing the power of warlocks first hand he agreed with those who saw value in understanding where their magic came from and how it worked. So from that point he adopted the practice in hopes to better understand what it was they were up against.

Warcraft III

During these times Seidran was an uncorrupted warlock or sorcerer as he called himself, though there were those who would not believe in such a thing he was still able to serve his people as a caster. He felt it was important to for him to distinguish himself from the Dalaran mages because of their own attempts to separate them selves from the warlocks of the old horde. He understood their feelings in the matter and so he didn't call himself a mage. Warlocks are scary and he knew that. As the burning legion rampaged across the eastern kingdoms, Seidran lost his daughter, and afterwards he sent his wife to join with those who had set out to establish Theramore. He had hoped she would be safe there as he stuck it out with those left behind only to lose Silvermoon and be ousted from the Alliance.

Vanilla WoW

During this time Seidran was apart of the Illidari. He wanted to be apart of reclaiming Silvermoon but he had hopes that Illidan would seek revenge against the Lich King after handing Kil'jaden. Sei wanted to be apart of that and placed his faith in that leader while all high/blood elves where placing their bets with other leaders. Sei became to like the naga and for the most part enjoy his time with the Illidari. Enslaving demons he felt nothing towards was easy work and apart of this faction he was able to practice being a warlock without question. If anything he was looked at oddly for trying to control his indulgence in magic. He still feared fel corruption and that fear is what forced him to accept truth later.

Burning Crusade

As the blood elven alliance with the Illidari and the naga fell apart, Sei faced a choice. Stick with the Illidari or return to his people. It was not a hard choice. In spite of his respect and admiration of the demon hunter Illidan, he still loved his people. And the Illidari were not what he signed up for. Though he didn't care about enslaving demons, he was not expecting things to become a fel army. He worked his way back to Silvermoon before conflicts prevented him from being able to do so. He felt like a rat jumping a sinking ship but then he felt the rat doesn't have to listen to the complaints of the drowned.

Wrath of the Lich King

During this year Sei found himself within the walls of Dalaran again. And again he made a point to separate himself from the mages among the city. He served as a sorcerer again but this time he was allied with the horde. He didn't get to enjoy the twist of fate. He came across his wife for the first time since she left for Theramore. They tried to get along, tried to understand and for the most part they did; in the end though he was a blood elf and she was a high elf. After the fall of the lich king they both accepted the fact there was nothing left between them except fond memories and wishes. Heavy heart in tow he returned to Outland.

Post WOTLK

Outland was a vacation for him, an escape. Fond memories awaited him Azoroth, the attempt to start life over. He wasn't quite ready to face it all just yet. In outland he crossed paths with the Stormshade. At first he merely stalked the clan, watching what horde life was like but its not really stalking if they know you are there. He found himself spending more and more time among their ranks. Now as the clan seeks to find a place to settle in times after the lich king, Sei has taken a role among them as a grunt. But no matter where he travels, what he does or who he becomes friends with, memories and old selfish desires haunt him. He'll face them eventually.
