Usual Garments/Armor:

Avelynne's best defense is that of not looking like a target; As such she chooses to wear average, common clothes found through-out the human lands. Her clothing varies a lot, having several different boots, pants, shirts; All in all, quite citizen-like in the sense that her wardrobe is filled to the brim with colorful, simple clothes.

She has one set of armor that stands out from the rest; A relic from the days where she was forced to act as an Assassin. It is black shows no particular signs or oddities. A simple, tight fitting armor to easily get into, do the job with, and leave as silently as possible afterwards. It comes with a hood that masks her entire face but her eyes.

Personality

Avelynne is a cunning, intelligent woman; Having witnessed the chessboard that is politics what went far beyond the intended room. While she shouldn´t be considered cold, she is definitely calculating and always plotting a next move; A way to escape the area if needed, a way to deal with a trespasser, a way of dealing with the unexpected because that is what she has been trained for since she was a child. She has become adapt at mimicking emotions, so well that sometimes she can't help but ask herself how she is truly feeling about things; As if she's been fooling not only the people around her, but herself as well.

She knows how to heighten or lower her voice, she knows what faces to mimic to show surprise or anger; She seems to be able to burst into tears quite easily to show shock or sadness, though what she somewhat struggles with is making it appear genuinely long enough to be real. She has a habit of recovering from her state of mind a little -too- quickly to be truly angry or surprised. (Or what emotion fits the situation at the time.)

Her fighting styles depend on the situation but she tends to favor the safety of range between herself and her target; She often improvises to try and make use of the natural elements such as tree branches or hilltops, being quite acrobatic and used to climbing and moving swiftly. When with others around her, she stays around in cover and often chooses to not fight at all; Acting helpless, seeking cover, sounding like a typical merchant who hasn't been taught any form of combat at all. A victim of the world.

History

Sandra Streets; The name itself a mocking gesture by the noble family that raised her. It is where she was found, on the streets and land of nobility, at the house of a farmer family in Elwynn. By calling her this, she was always reminded that without the family she was to serve, she wouldn't have lived for long enough to grow up. The first four years were spend in the farmhouse before being taken in after the most basic needs had been fulfilled.

The next two years she was locked inside a room in the company of several house maids who took care of her and several other children. Their ages varied from her own to being two years older before these children where moved to another room without a word of explanation. There were only little windows near the ceiling of the otherwise beautiful room, allowing for some natural light to enter it; Shining on the bookcases, the beds and furniture.

At the age of six, she too would be moved to a room with again, other children. Some she had met before, others were completely new to her; Their ages varied from six to ten, and what began to commence were lessons on how the house they were in came to be. It proved to having been a noble house of which they were the children; Saved, indebted children as otherwise they would have died on the streets. Using scare tactics on the outside world, the lessons continued on how the outside world was a dangerous place and that within the walls of the rooms, they were safe; Sheltered, protected. In return for this favor, the children would learn to write, speak and eat with a certain etiquette. They would learn the history of the house they were in, the history of the family and what good things they had done for the outside world. (Whether this was true or fiction, it was hard to say.)

The oldest children vanished at the age of ten, younger children joined the room as if cycled and Sandra grew older. At this point, she had yet to see the outside world they had spoken off; Yet to see anything beyond the corridors and room, even though it was a confined world she lived in, it was home. She didn't know any better, she had some toys to play with, books to read; They made up their own little games when allowed. All in all, it was a strange world, but it was theirs.

At the age of ten, she was moved once again; Though this time, the room she was moved to had a garden area. A little bit of an outside sanctuary, where she first really got in touch with grass. The bushes, the trees, the sound of birds and and.. battle? Swords clashed, arrows swooshed through the air; The garden was right next to the training area, making the sound of battle, sometimes pain, sometimes scoldings normal to her. The garden had little secrets to it, playing in on the inquisitive nature the children had; They were encouraged to explore, encouraged to listen to the outside world, encouraged to become enthusiastic and curious about it. The overarching roof of the garden was at a very specific height in which one child could not see above it; Two could not either, but three, forming a shaky construction allowed the highest child to peek just above the edge and catch a glimpse of the forest land they were in.

Naturally, this added jealousy between children; As usually the ones at the top where the oldest and the meanest, entitled to seeing the world on the grounds of being older thus the younger having to listen to them. What was a sanctuary, was very much a training ground as well yet this would never be discovered. They had the occasional fights as children, which never went much further then bloodied noses and scrapes. The maids that had previously looked after the children had been exchanged by scholars, more distant yet wiser; They offered more knowledge on the outside world, more knowledge of how the mansion looked like. Lessons continued in a way that always left the children curious, trapped as they were, they became enthusiastic about growing older and seeing what was in store for them. One particular lesson that started in the garden was that of acting; Staging plays, learning to fake emotions and to get rid of any possible shyness or reluctance in doing so.

The psychological experiment continued for the children, whom at the age of fourteen moved yet again. Boys were suddenly separated from the girls, the two genders placed apart in separate large sleeping hall; The hall was designed in a manner where the girls slept at one side and the boys slept at the other, far end of it. Though this time, the doors of the rooms were left unlocked at night and the rooms had a window to overlook the courtyard and the training area they had heard about for so long; Another trick to encourage curiosity and in a certain sense, stealth. The act of being sneaky became encouraged, to break the rules and reap the possible rewards for it. In between the two sleeping halls where several other rooms; One being a kitchen which always had some food stored in it, another was the sleeping chambers of the scholars which was always open; They were light sleepers, and her life became a risk versus reward struggle. There were two other doors but while they had slightly larger keyholes (then what was standard, so they could peek); They were always locked. They both revealed a hall on each side, one having been where they had come from at a younger age, one led to a further unknown part of the mansion.

After they had moved, the rules changed again; They became strict, the genders weren't to interact with each other, the food they got was lessened and changed on a whim, sometimes it wasn't even cooked to keep the children hungry. The lessons commenced on the subjects of battle, combat, fighting and how to prepare for the outside world. More propaganda of the house was brought upon the children, and how they soon would be old enough to repay the house for everything they had received. Acting continued to be a part of their daily lives which refined their skills, they were given no more time to play like they had been allowed to do so as children. Alongside all the theory and books that became mandatory to read and write about, sparring with each other was introduced. Hand-to-hand maneuvers and what had been a scholar, proved to be an equally good fighter; Sometimes they had competitions against the boys within the house, with food being a usual reward for the entire sleeping hall of the victorious gender. They were taught that by succeeding for the house, the entire house would reap the rewards from it, including themselves. The competitions varied heavily in the sense of skill and strength, boys being physically more fit and stronger then the girls at this stage; Meant the girls had to come up with methods that weren't taught. Both genders learned to improvise and expect the unexpected, and the rivalry between the two grew rapidly.

Two years later; Wooden weapons were introduced and trained with. Another two years later, they moved rooms yet again. By now it had gotten quite normal to do so in the world they lived in, having learned to not value the possessions and environment they were in for a while, learning to always be capable of adapting with sometimes less, sometimes more. None of the children really carried any love for possessions at this point as it had been taken away and given to them on a whim. The house decided what they owned and what they didn't own, where as they were owned by the house. Being eighteen by now, disciplined and having molded into that which the house had wanted from them; The true test began. All the theories, all the lessons, were going to be put into action in the coming years. For three years, they had the time to perfect their skills; Individually and against each other. Real weapons were introduced, their theories and lessons put to the test and those who had paid attention were to be rewarded. In the fourth year, at the age of twenty-two, Avelynn's entire life was put to the test in name of House Foxden.

Stepping into the ring of combat, she was pitted against an equally old male member of the house; With two noticeable differences. He had been clad in armor, a favorite of the armor masters where as she, a favorite of the weapon master, had acquired a few inches long knife. The ring had a rack at each side with weapons that varied for each fight, but one rule always remained the same; It was to the death. In Avelynne's case, the racks nearby had maces, spears, bucklers and nets of all sorts and sizes and as the fight commenced, each step proved to be one taken carefully. Neither side rushed to the racks, neither side went to try and grab a weapon on an instant; Patience and the instinct to wait for the perfect opportunity had been instilled upon them.

Two hours passed in which the combatants had done nothing but to size the other up, to try and make the other move from their spot; Eventually Avelynne succeeded by using her dagger as a throwing weapon. While it was dodged, he had taken the first steps and set the fight into full motion; He had picked his first weapon and with Avelynne being equally swift as the other, she had gained the ability to counter his pick. The mace was met with a spear, the buckler with a net; Avelynne having chosen the range and utility over the closeness and defensiveness of her opponent. With that, the fight was over in an instant. As the man defended with a buckler, she attacked with the net to bring him off balance and limit his movements. Once she had gained the advantage of mobility, the man's life was ended with a few more seconds and with a bloodied spear, she stood victorious and moved onwards and began to repay the house for all its sacrifice.

Over the next year, Avelynne repaid the house its kindness and sacrifice with blood; Further honing her skills as an trained assassin. Her targets varied from soldiers of various rival houses, to other assassins, spies and the occasional Horde member who had somehow stepped on the path of the house. She never got the reason why, but it didn't matter; She was a tool just like she had been taught, a weapon to be utilized where they saw fit, and she was contend with it.

Though around the age of twenty-three, she began to notice a pattern in her recent targets. While she had learned not to question, she had also learned to notice every detail and spot similarities in one's behavior; And one similarity that stood out to her was that her targets had shifted to people connected to another house. Her targets had become tougher, more aware; They had gotten on their toes even though at first they seemed to have no correlation between the previous deaths. As her subtle killings continued, she established that for the last few months, she had taken out solely members of another house. While this wasn't too concerning at first, being intelligent enough to reckon that her house was expanding; Some worry began to sink in when people in her own house began to fade away. For every life she took, one of her own went missing.

This continued for two years, and Avelynne became more and more on edge. Though they seemed to have the upper hand still, she had gotten into a few too-close-for-comfort scenarios in which she barely got out after having reached the target's location. What's more, was the noticeable change among the remaining members in the house; An aura if you will, faint as it was, it became visible. A seeming rift between its members only exchanged with looks that varied by seconds. She began to suspect something wasn't going well within the house even though it was meant to be in some kind of golden age with everything she had done for it. While she never learned the details of it, her assumptions grew when the lady of the house fell to a sudden sickness. Great wealth was amassed for a funeral and everything one might have expected in the occasion of a Noble's death; And while Ave attended like many others of her house, the hunch of foul play continued to scream at her senses and she ended up mysteriously vanishing from the house records.

A year later, Avelynne Price became employed in a general shop within the Trade District, led by an older woman named Anne Steensen; She had been running the store from way back before Stormwind had been destroyed in the First War and coming of age, would gladly accept the help from a younger, promising woman. It was there she blended into the city's life and became one with it, slowly adapting so well that it began to look as if she had always lived there. Sandra; A.k.a Avelynne deemed herself safe and far away from the troubles the Houses had gotten themselves into, but after a more recent encounter that left a man dead at the Mirror Lake within Elwynn Forest, she has begun to doubt that once more.

Skills and Abilities

Actor: Avelynne knows how to mimic emotions with near perfection, it has been something she has been thoroughly trained in and corrected in to make it as realistic as possible. Things don't seem to make a lasting emotional impression.

Eye for detail: Avelynne is quick to notice specific details on people and their behavior or on equipment and weaponry. She can recognise specific patterns in people's behavior and often has a reasonably good idea on how the person is feeling.
