Personality: Ruthiva speaks in various poetic forms, often taking it upon herself to narrate the events surrounding herself in rhyme. Her prose varies from absurd statements to direct telling of what is unfolding to advice on how others should act, fancying herself as a bard and a prophet. She also tends to climb up to high points, to maintain a birds' eye view of what is going on. Despite her own objections that she must act as an objective observer, she may still get involved in events if she feels the compulsion, becoming the protagonist to her own tale.

History: Ruthiva was born in Old Stormwind. Traveling to Lordaeron after Stowmwind's destruction, her parents kept her entertained with books of poetry they managed to stow away with them. Ruthiva was enamored with the words, which romanticized the stories of heroes and battles. Falling in love with the characters, she decided to try and be a great hero herself, training to become a soldier.

Secretly, however, she also desired to become a wordsmith. So she put together elaborate costumes, complete with masks, and would visit the local tavern, entertaining patrons with her poems and prose. Reactions were mixed, from those who found her interjections amusing to those that were disturbed by her interruption of their daily drink. She struggled to accept the criticism, and she stopped visiting the taverns. One day, a fellow soldier came upon some of her written work, and encouraged Ruthiva in her writing. Finding her best audience in her fellow warriors, Ruthiva became the self-styled "Poet of War". She would write prose for her soldiers to motivate them to battle, and to cheer them up when they were down.

Eventually, the Scourge forces would make their invasion of Lordaeron. Ruthiva led a charge of soldiers against the enemy, but were swiftly overcome by the sheer numbers. She was raised as a Death Knight some years later, body slightly deteriorated, but still a deadly warrior who kept watch at Acherus. However, this would not last, as the Scourge would lose their grasp on the base after the Battle of Light's Hope, and Ruthiva would help fight off the remaining Scourge forces. It was in victory that she was reminded of her poetry, and the love came back as an obsession. The result was that she would mostly speak in poetry form, often switching between being cryptic and being farcical.

Ruthiva now travels the lands of Azeroth, seeking stories and adventure, and wishing to become the narrator of life in the world.

Skills and Abilities: Ruthiva is well-versed wielding two-handed swords, capable of cleaving strikes. She is also very capable at utilizing plagues and diseases as a weapon, leaving opponents feverish and weak in order to more readily finish them off.
