Usual Garments/Armor: Rosalia tries to wear utilitarian clothing for any situation. Her apparel is usually kept light in order to not weigh herself down, though she also tries to give herself as much protection as possible. Contrary to her wish for mobility the woman keeps a good amount of gear on her body. Anything she carries has some worth to it and is strapped or inside a container strapped to her. And so she is often burdened by survival packs and the like.

Other: Due to the gruff nature of her life Rosalia often has unhealed wounds on her. There are also a couple of disfiguring scars, though usually not visible.

Alignment: Neutral Good

Personality: Rosalia is a woman of faith. Despite the devastation in her homeland she remains devout to the Holy Light, believing that it is the only true source of protection from the undead hordes. She also does not resent the undead, instead directing her hatred towards the ones that manipulate them. When she battles with them her main purpose is to set their souls free. Her gruesome killing methods are caused by her belief that it prevents their bodies from being reused for the most part. And so she attempts to also identify the bodies of her victims in order to give them a proper memorial. The only group she opposes without question is necromancers, members of the Scourge or not. Their actions are seen as the ultimate intrusion of the fallen. Rosalia shows them no mercy.

She is an overall practical person who prefers reason over emotion. Any danger that comes her way is most likely dealt with lethal force, not willing to take any risk through trust or hope. This does not mean that she has no feelings, just that they do not rule her often. It is difficult to convince this stubborn woman, as her way of thinking has dominated her recent years and has kept her alive. The firmness in her beliefs spans farther than her decision making; she is a free thinker, analyzing the world as she pleases without letting others dominate her thoughts. But overall she prefers order, and does not speak against organizations unless they are glaringly wrong in her eyes.

The main quirk she has is being completely fascinated in gun weaponry. Her free time is spent on fixing, building, cleaning, researching, testing, etc. All of her pride lies in the guns she utilizes; while she does not brag often she would certainly be offended by any insults directed at her skill or overall obsession. While it used to be merely a hobby to her it is now a much more important skill. It is what has kept her alive, and in her opinion, useful as a human being.

History: Rosalia Moreno was born on a minor farm plot located east of the capital city of Lordaeron. It was a family-ran business, with her entire extended family being the only workforce to grow the crops. She was raised as a feminine, polite young girl, being barred when her father took her brothers out for hunting. Her envy eventually grew to the point where she would sneak out at night and take a rifle with her to practice, though the shots gave herself away nearly all the time. No punishment would keep her from pursuing her interest.

When the plague hit Lordaeron her family fortunately avoided catching it. Their crops were carefully guarded, and at the time of infection their grain was not amongst the others in Andorhal. Still the effects of the plague were still very real for her. News spread out about strange creatures, though she disregarded it as merely ignorant peasant talk. However one day a few of her family members did not return from their routine outings. Again this oddity was ignored, the assumption being that they decided to stay at an inn rather than travel home in the midst of night. These delusions were shattered soon by a ravaging horde of undead that raided their farm. Those who were fast enough made it to the main house, filled with suitable furniture for blockage. It was also where several firearms were locked in storage. Whilst she wanted to fight Rosalia was barred from weaponry, instead sent to prepare survival packs. The barricades did not last long, and the undead broke inside and ravaged the defenders. Lucio, one of her brothers, and Sal, an uncle, were the only two to reach her alive. These survivors jumped out the window, hoping the horde would be distracted by the dead.

Out in the open wilds all of them were worried. There was little ammunition on them but at least they had supplies. The small group wandered the farmlands, attempting to scavenge what they could from the ruins. Sal, an experienced woodsman, taught his nephew and niece to survive out in the wilderness. Later Rosalia's brother would fall in battle, allowing her to regrettably have a weapon of her own. Through combat experience she learned where to target the different sorts of undead, and what sort of ammunition worked best. After her uncle died to the plague she started to wander around her old homeland. Before death Sal did try to lead her to civilization but now that purpose seemed pointless. She was devoted now to merely stemming the tide, perhaps even dying in the process. But even more important was the rare occasion of helping other survivors.

One of the people she saved ended up changing her outlook on the world. Octavia, a devout priest, was traveling with a convent of survivors. Rosalia was lectured frequently on the Holy Light, being told how it was the sole true savior of mankind during these desperate times. Her belongings were blessed, and soon even she could not deny its manifested power. Holy symbols and sanctified bullets added to her being made her the ideal undead hunter. But even through the slaughter the young woman learned to have a greater reverence for whom she slain. Each was an individual in life and did not choose their fate. Her true enemy became the leaders of the Scourge, the necromancers.

It would have been impractical to continue staying in the Plaguelands. Following Octavia's guidance Rosalia traveled to Stormwind, settling down for as long as she could. Her work revolved around primarily hunting, utilizing her marksmanship. The stable life became stale for her, however, so she decided to begin traveling the world, primarily targeting where she could help stem the undead horde. Before leaving she received a few words of advice from Octavia to keep her on the right path. The most important of all: Avoid the Scarlet Crusade.
