Personality
He puts himself and a few close friends first at all cost, but he may help others when he has nothing better to do. He is eccentric and moves around a lot. Roobald is outgoing. Roobald lovesto make maps and read books when there is absolutely nothing to do.
History
Roobald was born in one of the bigger houses outside Gnomeregan. His father was a head engineer and his mother a tailor. When the Troggs invaded they were the first to be hit by their attack, he and his parents got away easily and found refuge in Ironforge. There they bought a new home, his father helped to build Tinkertown and Deeprun Tram. His mother started to set up shop there to continue tailoring.
Roobalds father tried to teach Roobald all about engineering. Roobald would rather go outside of Ironforge to play in the wilds and in the snow with children from the neighborhood. Also he ran into trouble with the guards of Ironforge. His father did not agree with this and grounded him a lot, forcing him to study blue-prints and schematics for engineering stuff. Instead he read books about Dwarves and humans exploring foreign lands, Brann Bronzebeard became his Role model.
Roobald got sick of his father pushing him to become an Engineer. Always he wanted to see and explore the world outside of Ironforge, he ran away from home to live his own life, not the one his father had figured out for him.
Durring his running away he started to run errands for the Mountaineers, some wolf and boar clean up in the southern parts of Dun Morogh.
On a Cold day in Kharanos he saw a Poster hanging about the Lodestone Company, he read over it and arranged a meeting by mail with Hogral Coalbeard. Coalbeard gave him the Insignia.
For weeks he had helped the Company and Roobald learned quickly, but the money he got from the contracts weren't enough, he started to withdraw money from his father's bank account, steal stuff and scam some people. The excitement of doing these things felt great for Roobald and he continued doing it, even when he had enough money.
