Personality
A loving husband and father of six, Rogrid comes across as being what many think of as the "teddy-bear" type, but he possesses fists as stout as his heart so make no mistake, he is not one to suffer those who would bring harm to his family, his allies, or himself in that order.
Age and military experience have made Rogrid quite reckless, doing little or no thinking before acting provided he alone bears the consequences, but it is always with an air of cheerfulness that shocks and awes those around him, particularly his adversaries. A fierce temper and loyal to those deserving, Rogrid has proven himself to be an indispensable comrade on and off the battlefield.
History
Rogrid was born and raised into a traditional military family, and so his own future had been determined from the start. He didn't mind, for if there was anything he did best, it was fight. Only a few years after taking his first steps, more often that not he could be found alongside his father listening to stories of his own military experiences, training in the arts of combat with all manner of weaponry and tactics when he neared adulthood, and learning the in's and out's of their family business... brewing!
He enlisted in the Alliance military when he came of age and served for damn near seventy years before finally retiring, bringing home tales of his adventures that he would one day share with his own sons and daughters like his father before him. He now lives comfortably and fairly relaxed, continuing to care for a large family and their small business, though jumping at every opportunity for adventure that presents itself.
