Appearance

Rogrenn has quite a few scars on his body. Mainly on his torso, the majority of his scars consist of wounds from fighting jungle wildlife, the minority being wounds or burns marks from humanoids. Various claw marks in different shapes or sizes run in numerous places on his body, as well as bite marks, and other sort of injuries obtained in the jungle. There's not any that particularly stand out, but most of them are very noticeable save for ones that are covered by his armour.

And speaking of armour, it's not the greatest quality. Most of it appears to be more suitable for a Troll, probably because it's been stolen from them. As far as weaponry is concerned, all he has is a pair of axes tied to his waist.

Personality

Rogrenn's a pretty simple man. Not to say that he's dumb, but things such as engineering or trade tends to boggle him and he rarely associates himself with it. He's a bit of an amoral man, not knowing everything that is right from wrong. He's aware of the obvious things banned in society such as stealing, but for example he wouldn't know that it's frowned upon to walk in on people changing. Mostly small things. As well as this, he's quite easily manipulated by most people - the exceptions are people or beings who are clearly evil, pirates, and the Undead.

He's quite intuitive for a person without any formal education, able to catch onto things quickly, but he learns better from using his hands to do something rather than being taught in a traditional academic atmosphere. Not exactly being a person who interrupts people he's also a good listener, and can offer a shoulder to lean on for someone suffering.

When it comes to combat, however, the man can easily be seen as babaric. He tends to bellow as he swings his axes furiously, using rage to sustain himself in combat. To his fellow Human he can easily give the impression of ferality.

History

Roger Grennsfield was born shortly before the Second War to a pair of Kul Tiran sailors. His parents were quite wealthy, both being in the military, but most of the time they weren't around for their son and daughter, having a friend watch over them. During the Second War, the pair were dishonourably discharged from the army and banished from the Alliance for trying to free an internment camp of Orcs. Why they were inclined to attempt such a feat was beyond anyone, but their reasons mattered not, and they were made kill on sight in any Alliance lands. Not wanting to sail to Kalimdor, they travelled to the far south by ship and tried to live the rest of their lives without fear of being labled a traitor and free from the torment of war.

They lived off the lands, hunting wild animals and creating their own small camp far from any settlements that they knew of. They even went as far as to create a small barricade of chopped down trees. After a couple of years the two parents soon found out that whilst their son had the capacity to speak, he rarely did. The children never received any formal education, and mostly what they were taught was how to survive in various places. What Roger lacked in words, he made up for in loyalty and survival skills. For the rest of his life, very little happened. He woke up, did a small bit of manual labour, hunted an animal, brought it back and cooked it. After that the family would talk (save for Rogrenn) and then they went to sleep. They also raised tigers that proved to be valuable companions and friends, and later on Rogrenn even befriended his own tiger, and one serves as his faithful mount.

This carried on until he was the age of 17. His sister had gotten sick and died, whereas his parents completely vanished. He had no idea where they went, and any attempts to find her were fruitless. Eventually, he overcame the mysterious losses and began to live his life on his own. He did get quite lonely after no one to talk to, and with no one to rely on for help, he was putting his skills to the test. Some years later, he noticed an old Gnome travelling through the vale and without an escort, he wasn't going to be getting very far. The Gnome saw Rogrenn and immediately rushed up to him, asking for him to help him reach a place he had never heard of called 'Booty Bay'. Rogrenn agreed and the journey was mostly filled with the Gnome's ramblings. They reached their destination without any trouble and when the Gnome handed him some money for his assistance, the wild man just stared at it confusedly.

To the Gnome, this was... remarkable. But also quite puzzling. He found a Human who was literally clueless about anything that happened in society. What went on in his head was anyone's guess. The Gnome decided try and teach him some of the basic things, whilst also having the opportunity to examine him. The Gnome taught wight and wrong, technology and socialising with strangers. Though hesitant, Romaren begrudgingly joined the gnomes in their grand city of Gnomeregan, where he was subject to many estranged gazes. Much to Rogrenn's sadness however, the Gnome died in his absence after leaving to collect a delivery from Ironforge. With nowhere else to call him, he eventually began to make his way back home to the jungles of Stranglethorn, despite encountering many social obstacles along the way.

As he was wandering a path through Duskwood and he had stumbled across a recently slain guard. He blinked and knelt down next to the corpse, peering at it. It was at this moment that watchmen from Darkshire had seen him, and having the unfortunate luck to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, he was arrested for suspected murder of a guard and taken to Stormwind for interrogation. Unable to explain himself due to his lack of a compentent grasp of the common tongue, he had torture tools experimented on him when they believed he simply was just not admitting it. Eventually they accepted he was innocent and let him go free.

Whilst glad to be free... He had no idea where he was. He had never seen such a massive city of stone and so many people. Fortunately, however, when he was walking the streets, he encountered a kind priestess clad in white who he did not expect.

Skills and Abilities

Just the normal skills of a warrior. Nothing special.
