Rodile is a man of science, and thus most of his actions are a means to a (In his mind) productive end. Whether people are hurt or helped in the process is none of his business, as is what is done with his discoveries after he has perfected them. That being said, Rodile's true loyalty only lies with the Forsaken, especially the Royal Apothecary Society, even after the slight bump of the 'Wrathgate Incident'. He obeys orders from the Horde, but prioritizes his faction before any others.

He is also something of a coward; Rodile avoids most conflicts, and makes allies where he can, though not to the point that requires him to put up with annoyances. When he is faced with a danger he will usually flee, unless there are people to take the damage for him.

History

Rodile Sivera was born into a family of intellect and innovation. Growing up he was raised only by his father, as his mother had passed months after his birth. His father was a studious man, a local practitioner of medicine in Hearthglen. Rodile took up an acute interest in his father's trade at a young age. To his father's delight, Rodile was himself a prodigy of medicine, delving into his father's tomes and scrolls, dictating the anatomy of the human being to himself before being taken under as an apprentice.

When he was of age he began his own practice alongside his father, taking over the concocting of healing salves and regenerative potions. He became enamored with the world of alchemy, and performed his own experiments with his craft frequently. In time he outgrew his father's teachings, and with his blessing left to the outskirts of Stratholme to continue his research and studies.

Once settled in, Rodile began to develop something of a reputation amongst the villagers. He was a recluse, and his relentless solitude within his study had developed him into a pale, sunken eyed and unsettling figure of a man. He was eloquent and welcoming, but his ghoulish appearance gave rise to rumors amidst the townsfolk.

As the Scourge of Lordaeron began to rise, the lone alchemist was suspected to be amidst the cultist's ranks. Villagers demanded his removal, some even further to call for an execution. Rodile denied any connection, but with the rising panic, words meant nothing. Deciding it best to relocate, Rodile left weeks before the famed culling of Stratholme, bound for the capitol.

Rodile continued his practice in the safety of the capitol city until the return of the prince. Rodile was captured while attempting to flee once more, and promptly slain and risen. Being little more than a husk of a man, he served little use on the front lines. Instead he continued his work of alchemy- but now for a much more demented cause.

When the Forsaken were liberated from the Lich King's hold, Rodile was among them. He had no true dissent to being undead, upon inner contemplation; Instead, it was only an extension of what was already a short and fleeting life. To him, undeath was a chance to further understand the world, and it's machinations. At first chance, Rodile took up a position within the Royal Apothecary Society, and found himself quite accepted.

Since joining the R.A.S., it has been a tumultuous time for Rodile. Though he was accepted among the Forsaken without issue, this hasn't been quite the same for the rest of the Horde. After the Wrathgate Incident, in particular, things began to get troublesome. Rodile has left the Undercity for a time, returning only in secrecy to do business with the other apothecaries. He's taken to being a bit aloof, never lingering around the Orcs much. This is mostly due to an inadvertent (although not entirely unwanted) involvement in the Wrathgate plague.

Rodile is currently wandering about Azeroth, mainly the Eastern Kingdoms, on the search for future endeavors and topics of interest.
