Personality

Peter is a dark character. He might seem a bit arrogant and has a superiority complex. The many years of having the things that he loved taken away from him, along with the use of Shadow magic have made him rather bitter and hateful. He is respectful and "Friendly" towards those who earn his respect, in other words, if they are stronger or more skilled than him. He looks down on mostly everyone that seems weak to him.

If he is threatened or annoyed, rest assure he will charge a Fire ball just to warn you and a Shadow bolt if he is really sick of the person. Peter will most probably accept a challenge or magical duel, he thinks he's the best and will never be defeated. BIG mistake sometimes. His weak spot are women. This is the only exception to the "Dark Arrogant" Warlocky attitude he has, he will try his best to be charming and interesting to attract the woman he likes. When he gives it his best, he can be quite the ladies man.

History

Peter McVries was born in the human city of Stratholme. Since the day he was born, his parents loved him and gave him anything he wanted since he was the only son of the couple. His family was wealthy and he had a great education, but the actions of his parents "Spoiled" him, so he became very arrogant and some sort of a bully, treating anyone from a lower class than him as trash. He was very smart, nonetheless; his teachers were amazed and very happy for his learning and his parents were very proud of him. He did not have many friends, and the only ones he had were only interested in his money and social status.

Quickly, the years went by... Peter graduated from his school with great honors. But his intelligence and wealth was not enough for him, he wanted power at any cost. He heard from a "friend" that a gathering of powerful mages were seeking for new trainees, and he thought that it was a perfect opportunity for him to gain the power he sought. Little did he know, the "Mages" were in fact warlocks and he was soon taught the arts of Fire and Shadow magic. He actually did not care if they were Mages or fiendish Warlocks, they promised to give him power and he accepted willingly. His training went on for some years...

The Purge began 2 days after his 19th birthday. Luckily he was in a small training journey with his master by the time the infected grain was given to the citizens of Stratholme. When he came by there was no city. He and his master looked at the destruction form a nearby cliff and quickly ran away from the Ruins, fearing that the army of Arthas would think of them as enemies. They began traveling again, reaching the castle town of Lordaeron, where they stayed for a short period of time.

Their pilgrimage continued as Peter continued to learn more spells and kept gaining power and skills as a Warlock. Finally they reached Stormwind. The news soon came to their ears that the kingdom of Lordaeron was now destroyed, Arthas had killed his father and the city was now mere ruins. Peter and his master established themselves in the town of Darkshire, where they could study the arts of Fire and Shadow magic, as well as Alchemy. Peter prove himself to be a great Alchemist, but a mediocre Herbalist. And so the time passed by and the Master passed away, his teachings now remained in Peter's mind.
