Appearence

Noria is a upper class woman, treating herself to some of the finest tailored clothing that the Sin'dorei have to offer. Most often, she is found in a white and black robe that covers all of her skin, reserved and professional. Other times, she may wear pants and a jacket, again with covering most of her skin for the sake of business.

Should she feel comfortable, or if the situation calls for it, she may wear a dress that may droop in the front, showing off her arms as well. That, however, is not a common sight.

Other: As a doctor, she has a full first aid kit scattered about her person.

Personality

Noria is first off, not a fighter. She despites violence, always taking paths to avoid it. Should it ever be forced, she will pass down the duty to others, or if she must defend herself, she has many spells and abilities to reduce someone's combative abilities to zero.

She isn't arrogant, but she holds a great deal of pride in her work and her status. Should the topic be brought up, she will boast, and discuss how her methods are better than others in the medical field. She does respect those that do work, and are beneficial to any aspect of the business world. From the lowly workers, to the business heads of the world.

While she might've been wild in the past, time has matured her to a more graceful and reserved woman. She does not use her position as a woman to get her way now, focusing on her ability and wit to pass her through conflicts.

While she isn't racist, she generally dislikes most other races simply because they either seem uncivil to her, or that they are generally annoying to deal with. The only race other than her own that have gained her acceptance are the humans. Orcs, Trolls, Forsaken, Dwarfs, and Gnomes are all lumped together as annoying and uncivil. Draenei and Night Elves tend to be hostile, or hold nothing in common with her ideals.

At times, she may adopt a motherly status and take care of younglings that cross her path. Minor gifts, medical attention, or just -attention- are the extent of her care. While she attempts to be professional, pity tends to seep in for those that are truly suffering for no good reason.

On the other hand, she does believe in karma. Should you do something wrong, it will come back to bite you. And she will not give any mercy.

Alignment: Neutral Evil

History

Noria was born into House Duskbinder, a rather proud and flourishing noble family that settled its roots within the arts of arcane, providing the Quel'dorei people with new research, rituals, and spells of all schools of arcane. With this, the noble house gathered many funds from royalties and selling their knowledge to the highest bidder.

Noria grew up in ease at the Duskbinder Estate, where she spent most of her childhood. Both her mother, Melissa, and her father, Krestus, were kept away with their joint-command of the family's business. She was left in many caretakers, more often than not associates from her parent's work. Surrounded by the Magisters, they all were pressed by Krestus to make sure that his daughter gained the best education gold and renown could afford. The girl was taught and learned nearly every subject that can across the select group of arcane-users, from history to anatomy to forensics, Noria took in everything that was shown to her. While she wasn't pressed by her numerous studies, she was allowed the weekends off to do as she wished. Noria found that all the other nobility-snot nosed brats were far lesser than her. She took advantage of this, and monopolized the social time between her and her 'friends'. While the children feared more of her parents than Noria herself, the arrogant Sin'dorei noble led her gang to do whatever she wished, and threaten who spoke to do something else.

As she grew into her teenage period, she was swiftly maturing into a young adult. By now, her command of arcane was reaching standard arcanist's in the Magistry. Her band of tutors boasted that she was a prodigy and may even make Grand Magister. While the claims were simply to support the Magister's effectiveness to teach, Noria took in the hype to fuel her own tank of pride. Her lackeys were well whipped at this time, more or less servants rather than fellow nobles. Noria fully believed that she was independent from her parents and her tutors soon after the First War, dismissing her professors away while she strove to do more things with her band of henchmen. She would stroll about the city, flashing her title and name across any who bothered to humor her. Noria challenged many magi to duels, in which she would play around with the lesser opposition before wiping him or her off the ground with a well-timed spell. She flirted and toyed with many attractive elves near and above her age, which led to more than a few times where Noria did not even returned home. Rumors spread that she was not so picky about who she chose to spend the night with.

At the peak of the Second War, Noria thought he had Silvermoon under her thumb. She strut along the streets with her posse as if she was the Queen herself, as she could have anyone she desired, and could defeat any fool who got in her way. She was the social spotlight, and that her future was extremely bright.

That all changed one night. After a rather 'lively' party, Noria shared her bed with many other guests at the Estate, while her parents were away on a trip to Dalaran. With a smug grin on her face, she slept easily among the bodies, until shouts were heard outside. Everyone groaned as their sleep was disturbed, as the noise grew louder. Clanks of metal and cries pierced the air. Most were dulled by the drink of wine, even Noria. Suddenly, loud footsteps followed by a commanding shout lead to the door to the room being smashed inward. Elves carrying short blades and clad in thick blade leather rushed towards the bed, impaling their sharp tips into the women and men that laid upon it. Blood and screams washed over Noria, her lessons throwing her into action. With a selfish spell, she blinked into the next floor above her room, lucky to avoid any objects within the guest bedroom. The terrible agonizing howls below her echoed through her hung-over mind. She remained there until dawn, when city officials and guardians stormed the complex after a courier found the massacre.

Noria was taken into Silvermoon City for questioning by the Magistry, what information she had was told, yet it did little for the case. What was worst, is that news came her parents have not returned upon their normal time. It took two days before they found Krestus and Melissa sharing their grave in a ditch alongside the road outside of Dalaran.

House Duskbinder was completely thrown to the dogs. Many mocked Noria's inability to fight off petty criminals with knives. Called her a simple whore who used her family's wealth and name to live, unable to do anything herself. Most of her 'friends' were slaughtered, and those that remained quickly ditched the woman. The only thing Noria had left, was her knowledge. She vowed to find who wished for the destruction of her family, and so she bide her time.

The Third War only proved to test her arcane abilities. She partly redeemed herself when she engaged an entire company of undead, by herself, and managed to wipe them out with a prepared series of fire traps. Other minor deeds managed to land her out of the frontlines, when Arthas pressed for the Sunwell. By a stroke of chance, she survived the entire ordeal. The aftermath, caused her the most trouble of all.

With the lack of the Sunwell, the woman's arcane command rapidly betrayed herself. Any spell that she cast made her desire for more of the addicting power. Though, no source could fully sate her lust. She drained the very arcane from animals that still had the Sunwell's traces in them, from fellow elves if they were foolish enough to 'enjoy a walk' with her into the forest. She was on the verge of damning herself to the status of the Wretched, but then Rommath came.

With the Burning Crystals in place, Noria gored herself upon Fel, allowing it to completely consume her. Her thirst was quenched, and replaced with a hunger for knowledge upon this corrupting yet powerful arcane. She submitted herself to studying it day and night, often going for days without sleep. It converted her standard arcane abilities into conjuring Shadow energies from the Realm of Shadows, instead of calling upon it by faith.

During this time of recovery, she took it upon herself to learn all aspects of medical services, finding that many of the survivors were mentally ill, or suffered from long term physical injuries. She picked up the talent swiftly, finding hands-on practice to be ample in supply. Despite the Burning Crusade, and the war against the Lich King, she has remained in Silvermoon, serving the people as a lowly doctor. Though, it appeared that Noria was quietly building up her own powerbase. Two buildings have been purchased in Silvermoon, due to the lack of population in them, and have been rented out to businesses to occupy them. 'Duskbinder Therapy' has been based out of Dawnstar village. How she managed this wealth despite her noble house's collapse is beyond some elves, as there might be more to this doctor than at first glance...
